Our fundraising duck race took place this week. Thank you to everybody who sold and who bought tickets. All the funds raised are going towards our mainland trip. Over 400 ducks raced along this stream.
Interesting morning had at the STEM Showcase event organised as part of British Science week. Our pupils had lots of activities for other children to try out including micro bits, magnetic mazes and origami. @CNES_STEM@GreatSciShare@skillsdevscot
Congratulations to Sgoil Uig who took part in the recent Concept 2 rowing event. They won all their races and did superbly. Thank you to Uig Community Association for allowing us to use their Concept 2 rower to practice and @cnes active schools for putting on the event.
Congratulations to our P6 & P7 pupils who successfully achieved their Young Leaders Award. They have spent the last few weeks planning, organising and running PE sessions for their peers and younger pupils. Some future PE teachers in the making!
End of an era today when we said goodbye to Mr Smith who has been our Gàidhlig music and guitar teacher for quite a few years. We wish him a very happy retirement.
