What you’re saying isn’t wrong, but that energy also has to be at home too. The colonizer energy comes from advocating ONLY for this, and nothing else bc ur favs are enlisting.

Where is this energy for what’s happening at home? Or for all of the other countries going through human rights violations. Every single country is going through a different kind of human rights violation, but why is this the only time they bring it up?

And that, that is where my issue is, and where you no longer become an activist but a colonizer pushing your agenda. If you’re going to complain about enlistment (politics) and refuse to engage in any other form of politics, that’s a problem. Bc it doesn’t read as you actually caring about human rights violations, it reads as you ONLY caring bc you learned about a band, learned about enlistment and now here we are.
