Well, now we have 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙒𝙤𝙤𝙙 🤓. It is made by removing lignin, the natural substance that gives wood its colour and opacity, while preserving the wood's internal structure.

The wood is then infused with a transparent polymer that allows light to pass through while maintaining its strength.

Transparent Wood is not completely invisible, most versions are translucent.
