Hi @consaff @SamsungMobile @SamsungIndia the phone for exchange was rejected without visiting the place of collection and inspection. The grievance is also disposed with the same reply without looking at the actual issue.

Dear @officialepfo,

A close friend of mine has been unemployed for more than 12 months. He has been trying to withdraw his EPF and he has got rejected 3 times now.

He has only one UAN. Everything is linked correctly. After 2 rejections, he tried linking another bank account. Re-KYC done for new bank account.

Nothing seems to work. He is feeling so helpless and needs his own money desperately.

Why is a tax paying citizen not able to withdraw his own hard earned money? We talk about digital, but one is finding it so difficult to withdraw their own money.

Has anyone faced issues like this?

I need support from my audience to provide inputs & share widely until my friend is able to get some support to withdraw his own money.

Many of the private services in India are at par with western countries, even better in some areas. It is the government offices and services that are mess e.g. municipalities, infrastructure etc... is privatisation the solution for better services?

This is something most of the companies do - enabling the data features by default. It should be disabled by default. Not a lot of people going to figure out and disable manually.

Wife & I lived in US for 25 years and returned to India.
As we are approaching retirement age some US friends are asking how life in India really is, as they are debating moving to India for retirement.

So many positives here, but you know what the deal breaker for many is?
The horrendous Traffic.

Just think about it, NRI’s with $$ to contribute to Indian economy, but not coming back because of our chaotic traffic.
There are so many hidden costs to our bad traffic.
We need to fix it on a war footing.

Any small detail is missing and you are stuck for years.
The grievance system is of no use as the complaints are closed, and there is no 2-way communication.
Multiple membership ids, transfers, etc... It is designed to make it hard for common people.

Hi @SamsungIndia, the exchange was rejected by Cashify without visiting the place of collection. Later they asked for photos and rejected again. Since the purchase was from official Samsung shopKindly help.

EPFO meeting yesterday has announced some alarming provisions:
1) Full withdrawal in case of unemployment will happen after 12 months vs 2 months currently
2) Full withdrawal of pension after 36 months rather than 2 months currently
3) 25% of your EPF, kept in EPF always!

2 Grievance takes more than 30 days & closed w/o resolution.
3 No 2 way communication (email/phone). Contact details dont work if the grievance is closed, start from day 1
4 Portals data is not in sync
