Had a horrible experience with @airindia today. My senior citizen parents were harassed over a minor name mismatch on their ticket. Despite valid ID proofs and CRPF clearance, @airindia refused to let them board.

Two senior citizens were humiliated, made to overpay, falsely accused, and the original ticket still wasn’t refunded.
@airindia, this is pathetic customer service.

If this is how you treat elderly passengers, something is seriously broken in your system.

1. tell the customer that a refund has been issued, will be done in 4-5 days

2. refund not credited, customer checks back after waiting - tell them that we only look at cases from last 72 hours

@Ajain112 Paytm: Not sure if it can be called a great brand especially given what’s going on. But the way they spread like wildfire and at one point were almost synonymous with UPI payments (Paytm kar raha hu & opens up GPay/phonePe)

@Ajain112 Jio: Got the entire industry to reduce the pricing thus established itself as more customer friendly. Feels more value for money even now when prices are similar across providers.
