Jeremy Clarkson has never pretended to be anything other than exactly what he is
Brutally honest. No oil painting. A pot belly, a lifelong smoker, a drinker. Not exactly the modern alpha male or is he?
And somehow that is the whole point
I have watched him for most of my life
First as a motoring journalist who could make you want a car you would never own and never need
Then as something bigger
The loudest, funniest, most unfiltered mouthpiece the ordinary person ever had
A man who said the thing everyone was thinking while the rest of television tiptoed around it
From Top Gear he built something that should not have worked
Three middle aged men, The Stig, a track and a chemistry you cannot manufacture
James May the patient one
Richard Hammond the brave one
And Clarkson the force of nature dragging both of them into chaos and somehow back out again
When it all fell apart at the BBC he could have disappeared
The fracas was not his finest hour and he never pretended it was
He owned it, apologized and carried on
No reinvention, no groveling tour, no carefully managed comeback
He just kept being himself and let the work speak
The move to Amazon and The Grand Tour proved something I think a lot of people missed
The format was never the magic
The men were
You can take three friends out of a studio and drop them anywhere on earth and the loyalty between them travels with them
But it is Clarkson's Farm where the whole picture finally comes into focus
Here is a man with nothing left to prove walking into a field he barely understands and refusing to fake competence he does not have
He has run that farm at break even and then at an outright loss in full public view
No editing it into a success story
No pretending the numbers work when they do not
His farm manager hands him one brutal truth after another and he sits there and takes it
A whole season swallowed by drought even after he leaned into robotics and the most advanced farming money could buy
Technology was supposed to be the answer and the weather did not care
He showed that too
Most people would have cut it
And through all of it he has done something quietly remarkable
He has dragged the plight of the British farmer into the light
The paperwork, the council, the margins that vanish, the weather that ruins a year of work in a week
People who had never thought about where their food comes from suddenly cared because he made them care
And then there is the part nobody warned me about
Men who raise animals for meat and still love them
Who name them, worry about them, sit with them
Who treat them with respect and dignity right up to the moment they cannot keep them
And feel the full weight of sending them off
He does not hide that
He lets the camera sit in the discomfort of it
The grief of a man who knows the deal he made and still finds it hard
That is not weakness
That is honesty most people are far too afraid to show
We live in an age that rewards the polished, the curated, the carefully built personal brand
And here is a scruffy, swearing, chain smoking farmer who has done the opposite of all of it and won
He stayed exactly who he was while the world begged him to become a product
That is the whole secret
There is no act
There never was
And that is exactly why we keep watching
Praying for a full recovery mate, looking forward to another season of Clarkson's Farms!
Keir Starmer 7/7/2022:
“He [Boris]needs to go. He can’t cling on. His own party have now decided that he’s unfit to be prime minister. They can’t now inflict him on the country for the next few months”
He called for a GE.
Starmer’s own standards suggests that he should resign.
I was going to totally go silent on the faux royal tour, but it appears that would be exactly what #KingCharles and #ClarenceHouse want all of us to do.
Because Harry just launched a full scale nuclear missile at the world, essentially saying he isn't on a royal tour, but he is a royal on tour, so the sooner people get that in their minds the better.
He is claiming to be, in effect, on a real royal tour because he is a royal. And honestly, as much as this is a lie, it is also technically true. He's a royal on tour according to Harry.
The only reason why Harry is still a royal is because Charles has not pulled his titles, pulled him from the LOS and taken away his birthright. Charles has failed the UK and the world by not curbing his child.
Harry isn't going to off himself if Charles plays the strong man and takes it all away just like he did with Andrew.
And please stop saying, "But Parliament." The King stripped Andrew all by himself. The King can do it again. And again.
The other part that has me incandescent with rage (and I can only imagine how upset Prince William is right now) is the way Harry knelt by a child who clearly was uncomfortable being there. You know the one. The child at the hospital meet and greet, who had no hair and Harry chose that child to focus on.
This wasn't a four year old. Nope, the ill child was closer to maybe eight? Maybe ten? But the child didn't make eye contact with Harry, and was looking all around as if floundering and needing help.
Why the hell is Harry visiting the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne in the first place? And why all the cameras? HE IS NOT ON A ROYAL TOUR!!!!
But he is the son of the King.
And the King is warming up to Harry and has indeed met with him recently.
So what the f is Australia to do? They treat Harry as a royal. With security that makes them appear even more royal. With a camera crew.
Somebody is making all of this happen and it cannot be ignored any longer.
Somebody has to kick Harry out or kick out Charles.
If King Charles doesn't remove Harry's titles and make it so well known he is not associated with the royals in any way, then he needs to abdicate. Charles doesn't have a tough bone in his body. He's too sensitive and wants peace and tranquility at all costs.
Except it must have felt kind of fun to Charles to have the favorite in his family kicked to the curb at last.
Charles did that to Andrew in part to save the monarchy, but wasn't there a part of it that gave Charles such deep satisfaction? After all these years of Andrew being the favorite? Yeah.
Now Charles needs to strip his own son. He has to show his strength. It takes great strength to be a good leader, yet taking care of the Harry issue is essential now.
Remove Harry's titles and birthright. NOW.
(I refuse to include pics of Harry's 'royal on tour'.)
When I started paying National Insurance contributions in 1976, the deal was that I'd get a pension providing for a basic standard of living in a then-unimaginable 50 years' time. But now I've finally got there, it's just half the minimum wage.
The Man Who Paid In & The Man Who Paid Nothing.
Meet Frank, the man who paid in.
Frank turned 80 last winter. He grafted 52 years as a builder in Manchester, his hands and back are broken from laying bricks in pouring rain. Every week he paid his National Insurance. Never claimed benefits. Never broke the law. He raised two kids on a council estate, paid his taxes and did his bit for the country he loves.
Now he shuffles to the post office in the same coat he’s worn since 2018. His old Nokia phone barely holds the charge. His State Pension is £241.30 a week, just over £12,500 a year, but after gaps, Frank gets less.
He counts every penny. Some weeks it’s heating or eating. Last winter around 2,500 people in England died from cold associated causes. Frank keeps the thermostat at 15 degrees and wears jumpers indoors.
"I’m not living," he tells his neighbour. "I’m just existing."
His wife, Margaret, has been in a care home for two years, dementia stealing her away. Frank struggles to keep their old car on the road for weekly visits. One more breakdown and those trips could end.
Every pension day is the same. Frank walks past the bookies where young fighting age men fresh off small boats shout, laugh and slap down stacks of cash twice as thick as his weekly pension.
He keeps his head down, clutching his wallet, praying nobody follows him home. His street no longer feels like his street. Fewer familiar faces. Foreign languages. The corner shop is now a Turkish barbers. He feels all alone in the city he once helped build.
Meet Ahmed, the man who paid nothing.
Ahmed arrived on a dinghy last summer, one of 41,472 Channel crossings in 2025, mostly young men from Somalia, Eritrea, Afghanistan and Sudan. He tossed his documents into the sea, then claimed asylum the moment the dinghy touched the beach. No passport. No papers. No contributions.
The Home Office puts him in a hotel. Heating on full. Three meals a day. Security on the door.Ahmed strolls the streets in new clothes and the latest iPhone, using free bus shuttles twice a day, drinking and laughing with friends outside the same bookies Frank avoids.
He broke immigration rules entering the country uninvited. Once granted asylum, the door opens to UK benefits and housing.
Frank paid in all his life and obeyed every rule. He built the Britain that now houses Ahmed.
Ahmed has paid nothing and doesn't obey the rules, he receives shelter, warmth, food, free transport and pocket money while Frank rations food, huddles under blankets to keep warm and constantly worries about money.
Tonight as Ahmed relaxes in a warm hotel room with new Nike trainers by the bed, wondering what’s for dinner. Frank sits in his cold home wondering why a lifetime of hard work brings only deprivation.
This story is repeating in towns and cities across the country.
This isn’t fairness. This is a betrayal.

This has literally brought a tear to my eye. If you are a true Patriot and you truly want the best for your family, your country and your future.. there is only one answer ! That is to Restore Britain 🇬🇧 @RestoreBritain_@RupertLowe10@WomenForRestore
Two simple Restore Britain policies that would solve so many of our problems, so very quickly.
No benefits for foreigners. No social housing for foreigners.
Stop tolerating it. Make a decision. No more. We’re just not going to do it.
Not only that, encourage those migrants who are unable to support themselves financially to leave the country. If they refuse, deport them.
This is what any self-respecting nation does. Why is Britain any different?
Why should we tolerate entire foreign communities living in social housing, being funded by the British taxpayer? What is the point? How does that benefit us?
It doesn’t. So send them home. This is not complicated.
Jobless migrant households have received more than £10 billion in benefits in 18 months. That is staggering. 10 billion. Insane.
I do not want my taxes funding lazy Somalians who refuse to work, squat in British social housing and claim Universal Credit - all funded by hardworking British men and women. They contribute nothing, so they should be sent back to Somalia.
This is a position that the vast majority of the British people hold. It is not extreme, in any way. It is logical. It is fair. It is decent.
It would allow us to cut tax, ease demands on the NHS and free up social housing for British families in genuine need.
End the incentives, and the boats stop overnight.
That is what we are aiming for.
If that means millions go, that means millions go.
If you agree, there is finally a political party you can support.
Restore Britain.
We will send the foreign shirkers home.
The piss-take will finally end.
Not a care in the world…
I'll just dump this crap here because I don't give a fuck!
Taxed and MOT paid.
Must be an easy find… Glovers Road, Small Heath, Birmingham
Listen to this Englishman say how his area that he was born and bred in has been decimated and turned into a dump.
So sad but a reality in so many of our large towns and cities.
Well done Kurt on highlighting the state of London to the world. 👏
