May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time when conversations about mental health become more visible and urgent. Mental health affects everyone, yet many still hesitate to talk openly about it. This silence can deepen feelings of isolation and stigma. #MentalHealthMatters
To all young women, students, and graduates, my message is simple: do not let circumstances define your future. Use your skills, believe in your potential, and be willing to start small. Every successful journey begins with a single step.
My encouragement to you is to build meaningful connections, seek support when you need it, and remember that you do not have to navigate this journey alone. Campus life is not only about academic success; it is also about personal growth, relationships & discovering who you are.
Today, Yo-World Counselling Home proudly hosted HER Working Women.

Together, we rise above barriers and unlock limitless possibilities.

Key Message: "Strong men seek support when they need it. Taking care of your mental health is a sign of strength, not weakness."
Mental Health should be a priority to everyone. @Ukaramental#MentalHealthRun2026
As we move through June, it is important to recognize that men's mental health deserves attention and open discussion. Many men face challenges such as stress, depression, anxiety, financial pressure and family responsibilities, yet they often suffer in silence.
This month, we encourage men to speak up, seek support, and prioritize their mental wellbeing. Strength is not found in suffering in silence, it is found in reaching out. At @Ukaramental, we remain committed to ensuring that no one suffers in Silence👌@MinofHealthUG#MentalkUG26

Mental health is just as important as physical health. It affects how we think, feel, relate to others, and handle the challenges of daily life. Regardless of age, gender, occupation, or background, everyone deserves good mental well-being.
