The @GATERONOfficial x @ukeebs Snowy Series
(tested on the Meletrix Dyna TKL: pom plate, flex-cut pcb, cork dampening, no case foam)
In love with the Silvers. They are light, quite buttery, and just an overall clean typing experience to me. Just an absolute pleasure to use.
All 3 of these switches feel quite refined and each one offers a different characteristic that should cover a broad range of preferences.
Snowy Pink: Linear, 40gf, 3.6mm travel
Snowy Yellow: Heavy Tactile, 60gf, 3.4mm travel
Snowy Silver: Fast-Actuating Linear, 35gf, 3.4mm travel
Fun stuff from @Gateron and @ukeebs!
The new 3-in-1 Switch Tool looks to be a well designed solution for removing caps and switches as well as taking them apart for your spring swap and lubing needs. I can already tell that the sturdiness of this tool will not only be more reliable than their plastic 2-in-1 tool, but should also be safer on your plates and switches.
I will test it thoroughly while checking out these new magnetic switches made in collaboration with Ukeebs, the Snowy Yellow's and Milky Yellow's. I really enjoy the Snowy Series of mechanical switches I got to try out, and i'm expecting a wonderful sound and feel from these two HE options as well.
Thank you Gateron x Ukeebs! 🍻
Checking out the new @ukeebs x @GATERONOfficial magnetic switches, the Snowy and Milky Yellows, with the help of the new Gateron 3-in-1 Switch Tool which made swapping caps and switches an actual breeze. I love the new design. Super sturdy and easy to use.
These Yellow switches both seem to offer a more full bodied, lively sound in comparison the Jade Air's which i've used as a base comparison set in this video.
The Milky's are a bit lighter to actuate out of the 2 at 30gf, and offer (as their name implies) from what I can tell just a slightly creamier sound profile, where the Snowy's seem to have a little more emphasis on the clackier highs and are a tad heavier to actuate at 36gf. The Jade Air's as the comparison set are also 36gf but offer a very noticeable amount of mid to deep end in the thock spectrum in comparison to both. All of these are factory lubed and super smooth in use.
Not as stable as some of the more recent offerings and designs that Gateron have released, but I actually prefer just a little movement room for a comfortable typing experience myself.

Gateron Lemon Sea Breeze Linears. 🍋⛵️
Matchy with the V6!
Upgraded stem design for less contact and a smooth typing experience. Arc shaped diffuser for the led for better, even lighting coverage. Factory pre-lubed.
Jade AIR HE
These are touted to be an improved and updated version of the Jade Max HE's. Featuring a dual rail inspired stem guiding system that offers increased stability and smoothness on keypresses.
The internals have been engineered for a stated better sound profile. I'll be plopping these in hopefully over the weekend and have a sound test up to compare.
1 week break is over. Got to get myself back in the groove! Thank you for helping me get my shit together again! ALWAYS SAVING MY BUTT @GATERONOfficial
These should've been called the "Bikini Bottoms" 👁️
Gateron Oil King Pros vs Gateron Lemon Seabreeze switches!
Honestly, I prefer the Lemon Seabreeze switches a lot more compared to the OK Pros. It has that deeper sound signature that is just music to my ears!
The DYNA had nothing changed besides the switches. Which do you prefer?
Thank you again to @ukeebs for providing the Lemon Seabreeze switches for the DYNA build!
