@dennysrodm4n @BRamseyKSR Context is extremely important. SEC was awful back then and Billy still missed the tourney and lost to a couple of horrible teams. Pope has beat way better teams and never lost to anyone nearly as bad. No it’s not that standard or good enough but not comparable with context.

@dennysrodm4n @BRamseyKSR Pope has not been good enough. Also way better than Billy. Level of competition plays a huge part not to mention the injuries. Once again not good enough but the Billy comparison is just wrong.

@BRamseyKSR The only disagreement I have is about his first year. Beat Duke and Florida when fully healthy. Losing Jax hurt a ton. No one else had his takeover ability. Butler was never himself again fully. Even Carr was a shell of himself with his back problems. Elite 8 team easily healthy.
