This includes truly suicidal pts or those with emerging psychosis. No wonder experienced GPs are leaving. Crisis Team not even accepting referrals.

@NSFTtweets This is a classic case of self-congratulatory spin,whilst the reality on the ground for patients & their families is very different. Just ask them & their GPs, whose referrals are regularly rejected. Even accessing the Crisis Team has been impossible lately @wesstreeting @BMA_GP

As a clinician who struggles to have a single referral accepted I am concerned at the bragging here by the mental health trust of a reduction in referrals. There are no other services!

To top it off the ICB say that GPs should be supporting them so they can do even less!
