Turns out there HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE still playing D&D regularly. All through the 90s.

But they weren't playing 90s D&D. Second Edition D&D.

@MerricB Thanks Merric, yes we came to 2e as it came out and played right until the end so you’re right there’s a broad scope to the rules. I think our main concern is rolling back after such a long time our heads will be full of other D&d rule sets.
