@MrDrewskiKeski The idea of the diehard is it was made for people who thought it was silly for dragons to hold really *anything.* They wondered what benefits they could gain in exchange for essentially not really having "hands" to hold stuff. If you want to hold things, go ravager classic imo.

@TheMaskedFerret Maybe "The spell rank of the spell you cast after dispelling the spell is equal to the number of letters used when spelling the dispelled spell's spell rank."
@breadbutt It did have a special meaning and was a little better to use since it was on a "Dispelling <BLAH>" ability, but I changed it to "counteracted spell's rank" anyway to avoid the double or triple spell shenanigans.

In some TTRPGs, you always fail forward and move the action along, while in others (e.g. PF/D&D), failure can mean nothing happens. On today's (7/30 8PMEDT) Arcane Mark, we talk about failing forward to spice up your GMing for TTRPGs that don't default it! https://t.co/YQ7JwnWH7B

@DavidEd0285 It sounds like you are right on the same track with the suggestions we gave in the video! I expect a lot of experienced GM use that technique as well, but I also wanted to discuss what to do if you don't know all the feats in advance.
In discourse I see on TTRPGs, a recurring worry is that the existence of feats can make it hard or impossible to improvise rulings for characters who don't have the feat (or you don't know about it). Linda and I made this 7 minute video explaining how: https://t.co/ciaksSpzo1
On today's Arcane Mark (7/13 1PM EDT), Let's talking about running aquatic and underwater adventures in the next episode of GM Tools! https://t.co/YQ7JwnWH7B
