@hausofdecline@SO3_Clausewitz Removing the last two panels reduces the strip to just a visual gag. It's still a *fine* strip without them, but nowhere near as good as the original.
@Nicolai_reborn@thechosenberg Weird post to proselytise on. Hey, do you think mass murderers see heaven if they choose to follow Christ before they die? Do you think Hitler, a Christian, is in heaven right now?
@Smiley_Gate@Unixsystem13@DJWarnerStage You can rip the original lines from the game files and they're perfectly clear. The radio static was added intentionally and is applied at runtime!
@infernoman64 False dichotomy. It's perfectly possible to play to win while having fun. That's kind of the point of a casual format in a competitive game.
@nestapendragon@Bruhschwagg It's the card back. Because they don't have a standard Magic card back, they aren't 'traditional' Magic cards. As for why Wizards don't make an exception for them in Commander's rules... your guess is as good as mine, I'm afraid. I wish they would!
@nestapendragon@Bruhschwagg Commander's rules do not make an exception for nontraditional cards in deckbuilding, so the World Champ cards remain technically illegal. Of course, in a casual setting none of these rules need to apply as long as the group agrees to allow nontraditional cards in decks.
@nestapendragon@Bruhschwagg Rule 108.2a defines what is and isn't a 'traditional' Magic card. (Rule 712.1 makes an exception for double-faced cards specifically.) 'Nontraditional' Magic cards, like the gold-bordered World Champ cards, need to be explicitly allowed by the rules of a format to be legal.
@TonySADX I've always said that SMW is the ugliest Mario game and people used to mob me for it. I'm glad more people are beginning to notice its visual issues.
@nestapendragon That token is also incorrect in that it has power and toughness "*/*" instead of "X/X"
Makes me wonder if Ghalta and Mavren was changed in design and the token wasn't updated.
@XZombieSniperX@targetplayer@MartinJuza Under the old rules, you could pay that cost multiple times if you wanted, so that line is there to prevent you from doing something ridiculous like spending six white mana to gain 3 whole life.
@richmondie@tomieinlove @HMBrough_ @razibkhan The proles like a pretty rotten life, so it's not exactly something to strive for. Plus, I don't think party members get the choice without being sent to room 101 for an attitude readjustment.
@charlieboardman@RandomSprint As per the original post, "there are three people."
So if C is unmarried, the only other person A could be married to is B.
