@RupertLowe10 Some kind of ID card system would be useful to ensure that public services are only provided to British citizens. I heard of someone recently who was marvelling at the wonderful free care they received from the NHS - but they were a tourist, and shouldn't have received it free.

@RupertLowe10 @cfdownes_ Thank you Rupert, the point needs to be made clearly and repeatedly. So many of your generation refuse to accept that buying is fundamentally harder now. In the 1970s the average first time buyer was 25, on a single income. Now it's 35, on two.

@LibertyLydia The left got over 55% of the vote. How does this indicate a change in sentiment? The country is dying, and yet people are still overwhelmingly voting for Labour and other left wing fellow travellers. This should be a huge wake up call to the right.

@RupertLowe10 Great post. The only thing I'd suggest is on ID - it would be useful to have a simple ID (linked to NI number or similar) to confirm eligibility for public services and the NHS. Although there are other ways to do this, ID is probably the most convenient and secure.

@RupertLowe10 Yes, absolutely this. There are far too many parasitic socialists who will fight you viciously every step of the way. I don't know that there is yet a sufficient plurality in the UK for this to be a successful electoral strategy, but it needs to be said. Again and again.

@RupertLowe10 Mostly good ideas, but removing interest on student debt entirely makes no sense, unless university becomes much more selective. Far too many people are going to university for far too little benefit.

And clearly we need to stop giving student loans to non-British citizens.
