Progress has been good & we have reached the Class 43 fleet (working backwards from Class 99) but we have been slowed this weekend as the hosts are doing some urgent maintenance so nothing can be updated.
It is still coming but for now who can guess this locos identity?
Good progress is still being made. About 50% of the way through the fleet now although about to hit the more difficult classes between the shunters and Class 50 which will be a bit slower.
So why not give a little taster for how the site is shaping up.........
Good progress is being made.
Our return will be locos only to begin with and then units will follow afterwards.
95% of the data is loaded but we are seeking to go further with it than we did before so the remaining 5% will be more time consuming.
Patience is a virtue π
Update:
Some very small steps have been made towards the rebuilding of the site. It will be done in my free time and so progress will be slow but I currently have a plan to get the site back by the end of this year π€
@davwheat_ Appreciate the offer, David but I don't have any of the data available in such a manner.
However, small progress has been made on rebuilding the site so watch this space
The time has come for me to cancel my plan with the host company. https://t.co/z9p00pSl1H is no more, but the site is still live at https://t.co/DOjAwTb0Ky should you wish to continue using the data on there. Be aware that some functions may have stopped working
@lokiavivson Thanks Loki!
Sorry it has had to end so prematurely. I am continuing to update my records behind the scenes just in case I am able to bring it back in the future π
@Kosmo100 It's a sorry there is nothing I can do then unfortunately. It works for me on Chrome - I'm only really leaving it for those wanting the archived data. It won't now be touched in its current form and the data currently there will not change
ANNOUNCEMENT:
Unfortunately, our host company for the website have changed their policy & are now restricting the amount of data any website can hold. This means that we are currently unable to update any data on the website.
We are now in the process of finding a new host [1/3]
Obviously we are now very much open to suggestions from anybody with regards to ways to work around this, especially anybody with any knowledge of website building.
Sorry it's not better news π
UPDATE:
Unfortunately, finding an alternative website builder and host is proving impossible to enable me to recreate the website in its current form.
The @Wix data restrictions have ruined everything & I feel the only option is to close the website down!

It will remain live for a couple more weeks until the domain registration ends but will disappear after this. I have kept my records up to date in case I found a fix and will continue to do so in case I find an alternative option in the coming weeks.
For a clear picture, the restriction is that I can now use 3,000 items of data on my website & to show how unworkable that is, we currently have over 45,000 items on UK Rail Log & this grows with every item in a news update [3/3]
The website will remain live and available to use but the data will only be correct up to and including 2nd April 2024.
We hope to be back to normal operations as soon as possible and appreciate your patience whilst we fix this [2/3]
