Social pressures can absolutely cause adolescent girls to identify with labels simply because their friends and people around them are. And there are studies referenced.

You’re seeing a massive increase in women identifying as bi, and there are studies showing that a plurality still exclusively date men.

It was an example of different sex culture. Which is a different sexual culture than, for example, most of western history wherein sex is for the purpose of marriage&kids

See men that were traumatized, had abusive fathers, felt feminine etc.
