Sad to hear the news today of the passing of Shirley Hughes. Her books have given generations so much joy through reading and being read to. One of my favourite books as a child (and still) was Dogger.
It is with deepest sorrow that we announce that Shirley died peacefully in her sleep at home on Friday 25th February.
