@S_brimble @Thomas_Hiemstra@RidingAlex@johnasayer @athattersley @ukrtn@MattLanktree That would be my argument- what is the actual benefit to patients from genotyping? Would only be cost-eff if there is a cost-eff tx available. If can use genotyping to target tx then there is potential to improve CEness of an expensive tx by avoiding px who won't respond.
@ukrtn really useful and practical sessions on running clinical trials and interesting to hear about trials within the UK. Learnt loads and enjoyed hearing about patient involvement - thank you #UKKW2019@Thomas_Hiemstra@fjcaskey
Claire Corps #UKKW2019@ukrtn ‘remember the importance of feedback to trial participants on the outcome of the trial.’ This is something often done very poorly!
Looking forward to an exciting 2019. We start with the first UKRTN meeting of the New Year on 21st January. Get your proposals in by contacting @Thomas_Hiemstra or mailing [email protected]
