@javionearth thanks for sharing! that's a fantastic run—I had no idea you could open the inventory to avoid damage from the spinning obstacles 🤯
I still make the odd game or two now and then, but they mostly go unreleased. Definitely have me thinking about doing another zeldalike though 🤔
it fell through the cracks in my algorithm ("hmm" is considered a valid word, and this puzzle just happened to have no solutions without it) but that was not explanation enough to make them feel better about breaking their two-month perfect win streak

@NoelFB the variety that came out of a bunch of simple force/distance rules like that is crazy... to think that those simple n^2-body gravity sims people often make early on in their programming career were already like 80% of the way there is just an extra layer of 🤯
@TomSennett I have this vague design mantra around Lucky Charms. Use procedural "endless" stuff to fill the gaps around more notable, cool, authored things. It's much easier to stretch into practical infinity when you can just put the next amazing secret thing at thisLevel+100.
@NoelFB it's funny that for the first time in years I was thinking about diving into Unity for a 3D project idea since I've at least got a little experience with it... but now it's feeling like a real good time to try learning Godot or something instead
I'm delighted to announce the Draknek New Voices Puzzle Grant - grants of $20k or $5k for puzzle game creators from under-invested-in groups, including mentorship in collaboration with @games_astra
