Nick has addressed the recent influx of 'new Groypers' on the X platform who have been participating in methods of artificially boosting their following.

It is notable because this influx doesn't coincide with any major event on streamm apart from being near to the midterms.

This concentration of users did not join when Nick requested on his stream that Groypers make social media accounts if they haven't already.

If people are real Groypers making new accounts, they can lurk and socialize just like the rest of us did. In a few months we will see who the real ones are.

All the follower count posting is getting kinda gay. Follow back groypers by all means, but make sure they’re legit. Check out their page, make sure they aren’t alogging Nick, make sure they’re from the US, and brand new accounts need extra scrutiny.

I follow back but I look thru every single account and make sure they’re not spooks and not countersignalling. We must protect this movement over any other concerns.

Getting cancelled was initially the worse thing that had ever happened to me. My best friend of 6 years betrayed me, I lost one of the best jobs I had ever worked, and I didn’t know what prospects my life had going forward.
