WHAT WE GIVE ISRAEL

The standard US military aid package is $3.8 billion per year $3.3 billion in Foreign Military Financing plus $500 million for joint missile defense programs. Israel must spend most of this on US-made products and services, and by 2028 essentially all of it must be spent in America.

WHAT ISRAEL GIVES BACK

1. F-35 R&D Savings: 55 billion
Israel resolved multiple technical issues during the F-35’s early development, reducing US R&D costs by an estimated $55 billion and accelerating deployment timelines.  The total F-35 program cost was $55 billion in R&D Israel’s combat testing effectively saved the US from having to discover and fix those problems on their own dime.

2. Intelligence Value: equivalent to 5 CIAs (75 billion/year)

General George Keegan, former Chief of US Air Force Intelligence, stated that Israel’s intel value equals “5 CIAs” providing a 400% return on investment on the $3.8 billion aid package. One CIA budget runs approximately $15 billion.  Five times that equals roughly $75 billion worth of intelligence annually for $3.8 billion in aid.

3. Strategic Base Value: $15–20 billion/year

As stated by Admiral Elmo Zumwalt and General Alexander Haig, Israel is the largest US aircraft carrier that does not require US military personnel on board, cannot be sunk, and is deployed in a critical region sparing the US the need to manufacture, deploy, and maintain real aircraft carriers with ground divisions, which would cost the US $15–20 billion annually. 

4. F-35 Export Multiplier: $40 billion in sales, $173 billion backlog
Israel’s battle-tested performance and upgrades to the F-35 contribute to $40 billion in US exports and a $173 billion backlog for US industry.  Israel essentially serves as the world’s most credible advertisement for American weapons.

5. Jobs and Economic Output: 255,000 jobs, $72 billion annually
The F-35 economic engine alone supports 290,000 US employees and $72 billion in annual economic output.  Israeli stakeholders hold contracts with over 1,000 American companies across 48 states, DC, and Puerto Rico.

Why do people need to lie about this?

Because they have nefarious reasons.

Israele, domani, vive un’epidemia hippie. Tutti gli israeliani — dagli insediamenti ai kibbutznik, dai religiosi ai laici— diventano pacifisti convinti. La bandiera della pace sventola ovunque. Si afferma un pacifismo assoluto — non tattico, non strategico, ma totale. E allora: si abolisce il servizio militare, si smantellano i carri armati, si smontano i caccia, si sigillano le basi. L’esercito più potente del Medio Oriente viene smantellato. Israele rimane disarmato. Solo civili. Solo pacifisti. Solo bandiere della pace.

La domanda è questa: quanti secondi dovrebbero aspettare gli israeliani, dopo aver disarmato, prima che accadesse un 7 ottobre su scala nazionale?

Quanti secondi, prima che Hamas — che ha scritto nel suo statuto la distruzione dello Stato ebraico — valichi il muro di Gaza? Quanti secondi, prima che Hezbollah lanci un’invasione da nord? Quanti secondi, prima che il regime iraniano — che ha dichiarato pubblicamente di voler “cancellare Israele dalla mappa” — invii le sue truppe o i suoi proxy a “liberare la Palestina”?

La risposta — lo sanno tutti, anche i più critici di Israele — è: pochissimi. Forse minuti. Forse ore. Non giorni. Perché i nemici di Israele non sono pacifisti. Non sventolano bandiere della pace. Sventolano bandiere nere del jihad. E la loro ideologia — che è anche teologia — non ammette compromessi, non ammette la convivenza, non ammette uno Stato ebraico. Non aspettano che Israele si disarmi per trovare una ragione per attaccare. Aspettano solo un varco.

Ecco perché — quando si dice che Israele è guerrafondaio — bisogna fare questo esercizio. Israele non è pronto alla guerra perché ama la guerra. È pronto alla guerra perché deve sopravvivere. Perché vive in una regione dove la legge del più forte è l’unica che conta, dove i deboli non vengono rispettati ma divorati, dove il pacifismo unilaterale non viene premiato ma sfruttato. Israele non può permettersi il lusso del disarmo. Il giorno in cui abbassasse la guardia — il giorno in cui credesse che l’amore vincerà sull’odio — sarebbe l’ultimo giorno della sua esistenza. Non per retorica. Per realtà.

Allora, invece di accusare Israele di essere guerrafondaio, chiediamoci: perché i suoi nemici non accettano la sua esistenza? Perché non depongono le armi? Perché non smantellano le loro milizie? Quando lo faranno — quando Hamas, Hezbollah, il regime iraniano si disarmeranno — allora anche Israele potrà farlo. Non prima. Perché il pacifismo unilaterale non è pace. È la fine.
E Israele — che ha visto i propri cittadini massacrati il 7 ottobre — non è disposto a subire. E ha ragione.

No. Lebanon is part of the ongoing effort by the dying Islamist ideology to take over the entire world by murdering or enslaving everyone who refuses to join their particularly vicious version of Islam. The damage in Lebanon is entirely down to Hezbollah, under direction and financial and material support from the horrific murderous theocracy in Iran, making that entire country into a military base for Iran's 50 year long effort to erase Israel from the map and to commit genocide against Israel. The IDF has every right and actually a duty to take out all the sites from which Israeli civilians are being attacked and that is ALL that IDF is doing there. It is on Hezbollah if civilians are killed as a result because of the widespread use of war crimes like using civilians as human shields which are standard practice for Islamists everywhere.

All the horrors suffered by Gazans are the doing of HAMAS. Israel has the right and duty to protect its people from genocide. HAMAS is on record as wanting MORE not less dead Gazans precisely so liars like Ryan here can try to convince gullible Western social justice activists that this is all Israel's fault. Notice that HAMAS, Hezbollah, Iran never issue warnings when they attack Israel. Every single attack on Israel is a war crime targeting civilians.
