[talking with an English company]
> this is our VP of Engineering
me: cool, who's the President of Engineering then?
*endless silence and confusion*
@Indu_alagarsamy just a heads up: trains to Hamburg are being re-routed due to storm damage, which means they take about an hour longer than usual. I don’t expect this will be fixed in time for you to avoid it. Hope you’ll enjoy your visit anyway. It was nice meeting you :)
@Indu_alagarsamy@hofstef As long as it goes to Hamburg at all, reaching Altona should not be a problem thanks to the S-Bahn.
Also, the app is nice but still has room to improve – it already has said goodbye to me at the scheduled arrival time even though it knows the train is expected to be 1h late :D
@Indu_alagarsamy@hofstef We Germans love to complain about our railway service, but this trip is definitely on another level compared to my usual experience. Hope your (our) luck gets better :)
@hofstef@Indu_alagarsamy My train is just reaching Stendal, and will stop there due to persons on the tracks that are suspected to be suicidal. We’ll have to wait until they have been taken to safety.
It was such a pleasure to have @JimmyNilsson at our meetup. Thank you for taking the time to stop by. (And thanks to @andriijas for his spontaneous lightning talk about end-to-end testing, too!)
We’re (almost) back! On September 3, we’ll host @martinschimak who will give a hands-on introduction to „Story Storming“ at the @finanzcheck_de office in Altona. https://t.co/3Hrx3WCuO0
