China has lost its mind
Now they’re saying Japan copied its flag from Ming dynasty's 'Sun-Moon Flag'
That flag existed in Japan long before Ming Dynasty was even born
Next, they’ll claim Japan is Chinese territory because of the flag
This is preparation for bigger lies
Think China’s mega-embassy has nothing to do with you? Think again.
If built, it could give the Chinese Communist Party greater power to spy on, track and intimidate people on British soil — threatening everyone’s freedoms, including yours.
This is not only a threat to Chinese dissidents, Hong Kongers, Taiwanese people, Tibetans, and Uyghurs. It could affect anyone in Britain who dares to speak out against the CCP.

Britain is about to get its seventh prime minister in a decade. But despite multiple changes in leadership, China’s plan to build a mega-embassy has managed to survive.
It could become one of Europe’s biggest espionage centers, giving Beijing greater power to spy on, track, and intimidate people living in the U.K. And there is a real danger it could put Hong Kong activists living in exile at risk.
Britain should be a place where everyone, including Hong Kongers who fled repression in their home city for safety, can protest and speak freely without fear. Instead, the government is guarding China's interests better than they’re safeguarding the people Beijing intends to silence.

BREAKING: A Beijing-based independent filmmaker and YouTuber, Zhang Peng (張內咸), was arrested after Chinese police arrived at his on-campus residence at Tsinghua University at around 11:00 p.m. on July 1, 2026, handcuffed him, and took him away. A detention notice issued by the Haidian Branch of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau states that he was criminally detained on suspicion of “picking quarrels and provoking trouble.”
🚨BREAKING -- 🇨🇳Chinese scholars have "concluded" that the 🇵🇭#Philippines' northernmost Batanes Islands legally belong to #China, by way of 🇹🇼#Taiwan.
At a June 30th symposium in Guangzhou hosted by Jinan University, roughly a dozen researchers from prominent Chinese universities and institutes declared that Manila's control over Batanes lacks historical and legal basis, and in fact the islands belong to China.
"Participants unanimously concluded that the Batan Islands constitute a natural geographical extension of Taiwan, with sovereignty belonging to China, and that so-called Japan-Philippines maritime delimitation negotiations in the area hold no legal validity. The symposium was convened in direct response to the joint statement issued at the recent Japan-Philippines summit." [Link in the comments below]
In other words, Beijing -- via its academics and aided by state media -- clearly orchestrated this symposium to propose a new territorial baseline, a "lawfare" tactic to back up the patrols it launched far to the east of Taiwan last month.
So far PRC government officials have not endorsed the symposium's conclusions, but that's not unusual in PRC gray-zone narrative warfare. For now, muddying the waters over Batanes' legal ownership is sufficient to help justify its "sovereignty" patrols.

🙀OMG!. In CCP-ruled China, even cat food is no longer safe! Thousands of cats mysteriously paralyzed — suspicion points to domestically made cat food!
Recently, mainland China has seen reports of thousands of kittens suffering paralysis in their hind legs. After various medical tests came back normal, cat food became the focus of suspicion among pet owners and veterinarians. Most owners said their cats had eaten the same brand of domestically produced cat food.
Today (July 8), the topic “More than 65% of over 1,000 paralyzed kittens ate the same brand of cat food” became a trending topic on multiple mainland Chinese social media platforms.
According to many consumers, after their pet cats ate certain cat food products, they developed symptoms such as weakness in the hind legs, unstable walking, dragging their back legs while crawling, and incontinence. In severe cases, the cats became completely paralyzed.
After the cats were taken to veterinary hospitals, known causes such as cardiac thrombosis, lumbar spine injury, and neuroimmune diseases were ruled out one by one. Veterinarians and owners strongly suspected that the problem was related to cat food. Some cats gradually improved after switching to a different food.
As more and more cats developed similar symptoms, cat owners began forming mutual-aid groups on social media to share treatment methods and look for the cause.
The organizer of one mutual-aid group said the group had recorded more than 5,000 suspected cases of sick cats. Based on more than 1,000 sample cases, about 65.58% of the cats had eaten the domestic cat food brand Pure&Natural. About 24.6% had eaten Fregate cat food, a brand under GAMBOL Pet Group. Sam’s Club Member’s Mark was also mentioned by some cat owners.
Pure&Natural is a high-end domestic cat food brand in China, with more than 800,000 followers on its Taobao flagship store. On the Black Cat Complaint platform, related complaints have accumulated to more than 100, most of them concentrated from the second half of 2025 to the present.
One cat owner told mainland media that her 12-year-old cat suddenly suffered hind-leg paralysis. After visiting several veterinary hospitals, the veterinarians all pointed to Pure&Natural cat food, which the cat had been eating all along. The fact that the cats gradually improved after changing food also confirmed the veterinarians’ suspicions.
The cat owner said Pure&Natural is marketed as a high-end domestic pet food brand, and its price is not low. While her cat’s illness still had no clear diagnosis, she discovered on social media that many other cats had developed the same symptoms, and many of them had also been eating Pure&Natural.
A cat owner in Chengdu had three ragdoll cats, all of which fell ill one after another within four months. After the veterinarian learned that her cats had eaten Pure&Natural cat food for eight years, the vet suggested changing their food to investigate the possible trigger.
Cat owner Li Saifei’s cat became paralyzed in the hind legs in August 2025 and could only drag the rear half of its body to move. He took the cat for a full examination but found no abnormalities. He then suspected the problem might be the cat food. Before the illness, the cat had been eating Sam’s Club MM cat food. The product’s manufacturer is GAMBOL Pet Group Co., Ltd., which is also the parent company of Fregate cat food.
After switching cat food, the cat returned to normal in less than a month.
In response, related companies have said that their products passed quality tests and that there is no direct evidence proving a link between the products and the symptoms. Cat owners said their complaints have gone unresolved for months. One cat owner shared the recovery process of her cat on social media, but because she mentioned that the “cat had eaten Pure&Natural for three years,” her post was suppressed.
Mainland Chinese netizens have been discussing the issue heatedly:
“My cat ate Pure&Natural for about half a year and then became paralyzed in the hind legs. After switching food, getting sunlight, and taking medicine, it recovered after three months. It really was a problem with the cat food.”
“My kitten ate Pure&Natural. It went from occasional seizures to frequent seizures. The hospital couldn’t find the cause, and it died soon after. It was heartbreaking. We had raised it for six years, and the whole family loved it. We thought we were feeding it good cat food. Who would have known this would happen?”
“My cat had the same problem. It ate Pure&Natural. At the beginning of the year, it started having weakness in the hind legs and could only drag itself around. We tried Chinese medicine, Western medicine, acupuncture, and X-rays, and almost went as far as surgery. We spent several thousand yuan. Later, I saw on Xiaohongshu that it might be a cat food problem, so I switched the food right away. After two months, it recovered on its own. Now it is jumping all over the place.”
“When the Sanlu milk powder scandal happened, I wondered why people would feed the same thing for years without changing it. Now it is the same with pets. Why never change the food? Even a human couldn’t stand that, right? Who eats only one kind of meal for an entire lifetime? I buy cat food for the stray cats near me, and I buy all kinds of brands. Sometimes I mix several kinds together. What difference does it make?”
“I suggest everyone sue the brand together and seek justice for our furry children. Only by working together can we protect the rights of ourselves and our pets.”
A similar incident also occurred in early 2021. At that time, many cat owners said their pet cats suffered hind-leg paralysis, death, or miscarriage after eating cat food made by Haid Group. But this latest incident appears to be on a much larger scale.

“Pure&Natural cat food made my cat paralyzed.
“My cat had always eaten Pure&Natural cat food. It did not eat canned food or other foods, and it had never been sick. From February this year until now, I found that my cat became paralyzed. It developed from hind-leg weakness to being unable to move. The hospital examination showed all indicators were normal. It is suspected to be food-related nerve damage. I heard that many cats became paralyzed after eating this cat food. I also found online that many other people’s cats had the same paralysis symptoms. I am now demanding a refund and compensation for my cat’s treatment costs.”

The Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C. is about to get a new mailing address it absolutely despises.
U.S. Senator Rick Scott and Rep. Andy Ogles introduced the Tiananmen Square Memorial Act on the 37th anniversary of the 1989 crackdown. The bill aims to officially rename the street directly in front of the Chinese Embassy to Tiananmen Square Memorial Boulevard.
If passed, Beijing will be forced to use the address 1 Tiananmen Square Memorial Boulevard on all official mail and correspondence. It serves as a permanent, un-erasable rebuke of the CCP right on its own American doorstep.
This diplomatic tactic has clear precedent. The U.S. executed an identical move in 2022 by renaming the street outside the Saudi Embassy after Jamal Khashoggi.

Taiwan just promised every child $158 a month until they turn 18, and mainland Chinese social media is having an absolute meltdown.
On May 20, 2026, President Lai Ching-te unveiled the revolutionary "age-18 pledge." The policy guarantees NT$5,000 (roughly $158 USD) per month for every single child from birth through age 18. By the time a child reaches adulthood, they will have received approximately $33,000 USD in cumulative state support. For younger children, the money goes straight to families; for older children, half is locked into a savings account to fund their future education or business ventures.
When this news breached China's internet, the viral reaction was described as "breaking defense." Terrified of the comparison, netizens flooded social media with expressions of deep envy and disbelief.
The contrast between the two systems is devastating:
Taiwan’s Approach: Investing $6.5 billion annually into an 18-measure family support strategy, featuring extended 18-month parental leave and state-funded assisted reproduction. As President Lai stated, caring for children should never be a mother's responsibility alone.
Beijing’s Approach: Trying to reverse a catastrophic fertility rate of 1.0 by actively taxing condoms to discourage birth control and funding bizarre university courses to teach students how to fall in love. This is the same regime that recently raised the monthly rural pension for the elderly who built its economy to a measly $22 USD.
While the CCP spent 40 years forcing families to have fewer children and now resorts to penalizing contraceptives, Taiwan’s democracy spent that same period building an economy that can actually afford to care for its next generation.
Chinese citizens have clearly noticed the difference, and Beijing has remained completely silent.

China’s roads expose a brutal economic truth: killing is cheaper than crippling.
In Fuyang, a female driver hits a motorcyclist, then gets out and repeatedly stomps on his head while he’s lying injured on the road. She yells: ‘Don’t play dead! How much money do you want?’
This isn’t just rage — it’s the predictable result of perverse incentives.
Under China’s traffic compensation rules, causing death means a one-time fixed payout (typically death compensation + funeral costs, often equivalent to 20 years of local average income, around ¥500k–1M+ RMB depending on region).
Causing permanent disability can mean lifelong payments: ongoing medical care, nursing fees, lost wages, disability compensation, and more — potentially millions over decades.
A system that makes finishing the job ‘more economical’ than helping the victim reveals deep failures in law, morality, and human value.
When saving a life costs more than ending it, society has a problem.”

It seems every week the EU is alarmed by a Chinese development—but this has been going on for years. Europe’s version of sleepwalking is pretending to sleep while you walk.
“Alarm is growing in Brussels that the billions of dollars Chinese companies plan to invest in Morocco could turn the north African nation into a launch pad for heavily subsidised goods that threaten to swamp European industry.” 1/
CCP deepfakes: "I don't identify with these images at all, and I hope that is a taboo we can break. Because that's not you. That's an image of the CCP.”
Breaking the taboo together. So proud of & grateful to the women coming forward with their stories.❤️ https://t.co/8Vkx77P2rC
