On record is 450 pre-internship HCW who have finished their training and are eager to serve. Our lecs are not quacks and have been examining us for 7 yrs. It is ill for KMPDU to fight pre-interns yet they are afraid to fight for the hundreds of unemployed medics
@kmpdu have decided that there must be a health crisis in Kenya. That the largest medical school in Kenya will not release interns yet we know interns run the show in our public hospitals. Kenyans must follow this keenly.
We have finished our training,we have paid school fees we have attended ward rounds, all we need is to be examined. We are the key stakeholders! This stale mate must be resolved ASAP. #Kiamasaidia#UONReleaseMedicalInterns
Today our finalist' graduating class sharpened their basic surgical skills in a training facilitated by @amsunuonbi. These series of daily trainings extends from 12-15/10/20.

Finalist medical students are ready for internship and ought to join the healthworkforce. 7 years in medical training is too long a time! @kmpdc @UoN_CHS @KenyaMedics_KMA @WereOnyino @andrewsuleh@DrMercyKorir
Actually, the result just says that as at the time of testing, the virus was NOT DETECTED. It doesn’t necessarily mean you don’t have it, or will not get it. It’s like a Certificate of Good Conduct, it is only valid as at the time of testing/getting it...not futuristic at all.
@DrMercyKorir A test tells you about the past not the future. It is no different from doing a malaria test. I think people imagine that the test is like a school test to be 'passed', so its some kind of a challenge.

What's in the oven for final year medical students who were left with only 11 weeks to complete school? 6 years at medical school
Don't you think it's necessary to involve them? Or it's okay for them too to be at home...
@ntvkenya@DrMercyHealth@MOH_Kenya As a final year medical student who has spent 73 days at home so far and 7 years + in school. My obvious question is till when? Are we (final year medics) featuring in your board room conversations on resumption of schools??

@ntvkenya@DrMercyHealth@MOH_Kenya What is the plan on opening the health institutions especially for the finalist class especially since this pandemic is here to stay. Is it not logical to get finalist medical students who were a few weeks to finishing school back to school in order to graduate and serve?
