It's good to see your happy faces. Poverty, war, pain, grief… but you have to learn to find joy anyway. Otherwise, they will think they have power over you. You can't give up your dignity and your right to happiness. It's yours, and yours alone.
We've not been here for very long. And very soon, we'll be gone forever. We just stopped by for a few minutes. We know that. But we act as if we're home and will live here forever.
Teaching kids to code? They won't need it. Teach them to fight and shoot. Teach them to fish, hunt, build a house, drive, and repair a car. Stock up on tools, spare parts, fuel, canned food, weapons, ammunition. We've already reached that point. Technology is no longer necessary.
You build and improve it day by day. One looks in, mutters 'bullshit,' and moves on. Another says 'cool' and buys. There'll always be both. That first guy? He's bullshit himself. He's never created anything but bullshit in his life. Forget him. Focus on those who value your work.
Looking back on those times, I'd try again to recapture it. We didn't think about the future; we lived in the moment. We bit off, chewed thoroughly, and savored every bite of life. Sometimes, though, we spat it out in disgust and anger: who the fuck put this shit on my plate?!
Spit out your pride. Crush that vermin, trample it underfoot. Billions of people just like you think they are great and special. True greatness is the ability to see reality, accept who you are, and live accordingly. That is the key to freedom and peace of mind.
You read the news more and more often. What if you miss something?! If you miss it, you might not understand what happens next! So you start reading not just the news, but analysis, opinions, and commentary... Do you really have a few extra lives for all this shit?
If your life is empty and meaningless, the only way to fix it is to go to war. In war, you don't have to think about the meaning of your life. There, you have only one task: to save it every minute.
You're a tourist. You're impressed by the sights, the history, the culture. You don't care about the daily problems of the locals, but they couldn't care less about the ancient ruins. You're a stranger. For a few of them, you're food; for the rest, you're just an annoying fly.
At the end of December, everything is working poorly. Banks, couriers, stores... Traffic jams everywhere. Everyone is trying to do in a week what they couldn’t do in a year. And all because of what? Some fairytale character's birthday?
All marketing books are poison. All they tell you is: "Your product is shit, your company is shit, and you are shit. Look at Apple or Nike—they make really cool things. And you... you are shit."
