WWD: How did you feel when you received the proposal to collaborate?
🐷🐇: When I heard that I would be able to create my own collection, I was really excited. Being able to incorporate the tail of “Dwaekki,” which I designed myself, as well as the handwritten logo, into the items still feels quite surreal to me. At the same time, though, I feel very proud of it.

WWD: The sneakers are based on popular models from “AUTRY.” When selecting the design, colors, and details, how did you incorporate your own personality and your personal approach to fashion?
🐷🐇: For the simple white “Medalist,” I used pink, the color that symbolizes this capsule collection, as an accent. I also added AUTRY’s handwritten collaboration logo and designed “Dwaekki’s” tail. I think the tail has become a major point because it’s so cute.

WWD: And what about the “Hyperway”?
🐷🐇: I based it on my favorite color, black, and naturally added pink and the “Dwaekki” motif. Since the “Hyperway” is a sporty model, I kept its original appeal while adding a design that reflects my own style.

WWD: Do you pay particular attention to your styling when you’re on a flight or staying somewhere?
🐷🐇: What I always prioritize is comfort. I like comfortable styles, such as pairing a hoodie with a T-shirt and wearing sneakers. AUTRY’s items are also easy to incorporate into my everyday styling, so I’ve been wearing them quite often lately.

WWD: Tell us if you have any “collecting habits” that you’ve noticed growing over time.
🐷🐇: I’ve never really been much of a collector (laughs). My style is to “buy things when I find something I like,” so that’s generally how I shop. But after becoming involved with AUTRY, I gradually started collecting sneakers. They feel so good when I wear them that I can’t stop anymore.
