I know I don't normally post negative or mean-spirited content, but there's something I REALLY need to get off my chest... 😤
In my opinion, the worst thing about Sony's PS5 isn't the lack of exclusives or any of that stuff...
It's the FREQUENT CORRUPTION OF SAVE FILES!!!! 😡

On that note: I LIKELY WON'T BUY THE PS5 VERSION OF ANY GAME OVER THE SWITCH/SWITCH 2 VERSION!! Unless the Switch/Switch 2 version runs AWFUL or is STRAIGHT-UP BUSTED, it will likely be an improvement over taking the gamble of my PS5 wiping my save data whenever it wants!!! 😤

So...
Now I'm going to pay for PS Plus JUST so I can have the backup save option in case this unit does this sort of thing AGAIN to me on some other game I decide to play!! Because I can ONLY PUT UP WITH RE-DOING THINGS I'VE ALREADY DONE SO MANY TIMES BEFORE I LOSE IT!!! 🫠

For context: I lost all of my progress in Darwin's Paradox when I was ALMOST done with the game on my PS5 AND I have lost ALL of my progress on Palworld not ONCE, NOT TWICE, BUT THRICE!!! Worse yet, I lost my previous save file prior to the one I made for the 1.0 update!! 💢

Also: I gave him his own nickname, too! His name is Zoran, because it sounds kinda cool and it also means "Rising Warrior", which felt perfect for this little tenacious mini dragon!! 😉

After playing a little bit of #DigimonStoryTimeStranger I added a Monodramon to my team and became downright OBSESSED with him, so I KNEW I had to make a plush of him!!! After weeks of work, this is what came out of it!! My very own hand-made Monodramon plush!!! I LOVE HIM!!! 🥰

Kinda random, but it's National Armadillo Day today, so I thought it would be a good time to post pictures of a plush of my personal armadillo character: Aredd! Isn't he cute? I finished him recently and I'm pretty happy with how he turned out, overall!

Look what I finished making at the end of May!! I made a plush of a Pal from #Palworld that I've become attached to: #Tarantriss!! I named my one "Taffeta", because she likes to make costumes and accessories out of fabric! This was SUCH a labor of love, as you can probably tell!!

THE UNIVERSE IS TOYING WITH ME!!!!!!!! 😵 Shinx has 50/50 Male/Female odds!!! I CHECKED!!!!! HOW?!?!? 🤣

It's gone. Weeks and weeks worth of progress in Palworld and due to my save file being corrupted for NO reason, it's all gone. Like dust in the wind. 😓
I have to redo it all, or stop playing cold turkey.
*Sigh* I hope the Pokemon Presents tomorrow lifts my spirits... 😑

Look... I'm not usually one to vent on social media... But I just HAVE to get this off of my chest: I THINK I JUST LOST WEEKS WORTH OF PROGRESS BECAUSE MY SAVE FILE ON PALWORLD ON MY PS5 IS COMPLETELY CORRUPTED!!!!!!!!

And yes, I cleared the cache and rebuilt the database. It changed NOTHING.
But if ANYONE has ANY ideas on how I can fix this disaster and get back my last UN-CORRUPTED save, I'M ALL EARS!!!!
As it stands, it seems I have to REDO 111 IN-GAME DAYS WORTH OF PROGRESS!!!!

Fun fact: I was inspired to make a Pangolin character because of Mr. Weebl's music video, but I took the "tail mace" part LITERALLY, so that's why he has a mace at the end of his tail!!

Happy #WorldPangolinDay !!! To celebrate, I wanted to share a drawing of an OC I made!! His name is Aredd and he's a Pangodillo!! Originally, he was supposed to be a Pangolin, but I realized he kinda has a few features that are more like an armadillo, so he's a bit of both!
