@Sharadleh@frayedform The Point I did want to make though.
Nintendo is the only console manufacturer that publicly apologized for Price Increases, and are publicly against AI in their games.
Yes, Nintendo does plenty bad and this isn't a competition. But other companies do worse
@Sharadleh@frayedform To be fair, that is very much a Japanese Company thing, rather than just a Nintendo thing.
The only reason you don't really see this happen with many other companies is because they're mainly hands off when it comes to western marketing and the like.
@Lady_Headass Again.
Depends on the game. Most of the time, yes, it is just Framerate and upscaled resolution.
Some other games add Switch 2 Features such as Mouse Controls.
Or they can be like Kirby and the forgotten land where it adds a whole DLC campaign.
@WaterShuriken_ I actually do like the TR system, In spite of it's flaws.
The system Scarlet and Violet had admittedly works better for the open world format, so I understand why they didn't bring reusable TMs back.
@Sharadleh@frayedform Full disclosure. Not gonna defend Nintendo for doing the same.
I was one of the few saying that they're a terrible idea when we learned of them, even if they technically Already existed in the Switch 1 Era, but then were rarely used exclusively by online only games and Indies.
@Lady_Headass I mean.
Considering they're essentially DLC, it's fair to ask more for the Upgrade
As for the price of it. That's the price of buying the game + the Upgrade
The Upgrade pack alone costs anywhere from Free to 20 dollars depending on what the pack adds.
@Sharadleh@frayedform Indeed. And I ain't gonna be defending that
I was referring to is most of the high profile Fangames were either Paywalled, such as some Pokemon Fangames, or were similar to games they're already making at the time, such as AM2R, or that Fan Made Rhythm Heaven collection
@Sharadleh@frayedform 1. Yes, That very same concept. A physical disk that requires an Initial download and an internet connection to play.
Correction to my self. Sony doesn't do this. But Microsoft does. And has been doing this for years
@Sharadleh@frayedform 4. The Fan Projects they go After were almost always games that were being crowdfunded or behind a Paywall. Something that even Sega will take your fangame down over.
Or the fan project they were similar to something else already in development..
5. Fair enough
(2/2)
@Sharadleh@frayedform Gonna refute some of these.
1. Nintendo didn't 'create' virtual cards, Sony and Microsoft were doing something similar for years
2. Only true for digital. Physical games go on sale all the time
3. Fair enough
(1/2)
Im tired of being negative so Imma do what I think each region did best at
Kanto: ehh
Johto: Best Rival
Hoenn: Best Legendaries
Sinnoh: Best Side Modes
Unova: Best Villains
Kalos: Best Lore
Alola: Best Vibes
Galar: Best Characters
Paldea: Best Gimmick
okay but actually:
kanto: poorly designed dex
johto: specifically wild pokemon levels
hoenn: 60/105/60/105/60/70
sinnoh: yeah HMs
unova: evolution levels too high
kalos: too easy + too small
alola: cutscenes
galar: forgettable
paldea: open world without level scaling
@RealQuickGG We sorta have one with Kangaskan.
If we ever get an Australia based Region, we will definitely get one then, because newer regions tend to base the new Pokemon on the region
@GUNDAM_GCG_ENG This actually works pretty well.
I doubt we'll get a Dedicated Calamity war deck as this seems to be intended as a Generic thing to splash into whatever blue deck.
