⚡️Lightening can strike twice ....Recurrent disc herniations do happen

This patient suffered an L4/5 Disc extrusion in 2021, which completely resorbed by 2023, only to reherniate again in 2025.

Although he continued to have back pain in 2023 his findings showed a nearly pristine scan for his age group.
In 2025 he started to developed left leg radicular pain due to the new herniation.

2 points here
1️⃣ Disc reherniations can occur at the same disc - even after obvious 'healing' has occurred.

2️⃣ Pain can remain even though disc herniations resorb (and vice-versa)
