“The most intense and harsh prison conditions I’ve seen in my 25-year career.”
International human rights lawyer @JaredGenser told @CNN that the torturous solitary confinement and isolation of former Prime Minister Imran Khan is part of a deliberate strategy by the Pakistani regime to “crush his spirit or break him psychologically.”

Imran Khan’s sons have voiced fresh concerns about their father’s wellbeing, saying he appears visibly stressed amid his continued imprisonment and limited contact with the outside world.
Their remarks have renewed attention on the former prime minister’s health, as his family remains concerned about his physical and emotional condition.
Former prime minister Imran Khan remains in custody while facing multiple cases.
I was grateful for the opportunity to speak on @CNNi’s @Amanpour about the shocking mistreatment of my client former #Pakistan PM @ImranKhanPTI by the #Pakistan regime and its brazen violation of the #SupremeCourt’s order for an independent medical panel to evaluate his health at a private hospital. The regime keeps insisting he is fine – if that is true then they should welcome the review and send all Khan’s medical records to the Supreme Court, as ordered! @kasim_khan_1999@sayedzbukhari #humanrights

The Pakistani regime appear to have flouted the order by the court for Imran Khan to be kept in hospital.
There are grave concerns that his health is dangerously deteriorating.
There are strong indications that Imran Khan would have won the electiom had it been contested fairly and that the charges have been created to prevent him speaking to the Pakiatani people

🇵🇰 Former PM Imran Khan’s sons say they’re genuinely scared they could lose their father in prison.
Kasim and Sulaiman spoke to Sky Sports at Lord’s, with their father’s portrait hanging right behind them. They haven’t seen him since 2022 and haven’t even spoken to him since March.
And what they’re describing is brutal.
They say he now spends more than 23 hours a day alone in a small cell, has lost 80% of the vision in one eye and is struggling with his health.
Kasim: “They are just blatantly trying to kill him in there.”
Even after the Supreme Court ordered him moved to a private hospital, his sons say he was taken to a government facility for a few hours and then sent straight back to jail.
The government of course denies mistreating him and says he has food, books, TV and space to exercise.
And here’s where it gets even more frustrating. After his sons spoke about all of this, the Pakistan Cricket Board complained to Sky over the interview.
Forget the politics for a second. These are two sons who just want to see their dad, talk to him and know if he’s okay.

Pakistan threatened Lord’s Test boycott after broadcaster Sky Sports telecast interview with Imran Khan’s two sons which was actually recorded at the Lord’s Long Room a day before the Test. PCB wanted SKY not to air the interview during Lunch break else they wouldn’t take the field post Lunch.
The 18-min interview done by Michael Atherton (one of the 21 captains to sign the letter to Pak PM) was shown and Pak did take the field too
