THE TRUTH BEHIND “PASTOR MOHAMMAD MOHAMMAD” AND HIS FAKE CONVERSIONS

Investigation has revealed a Christian man named Mr. Daniel, parading as Pastor Mohammad Mohammad, claiming to be a Muslim convert to Christianity. He was never a Muslim but continues to claim so to gain sympathy, credibility, and attention.

Mr. Daniel who used to be called Evang. Daniel Ahmed Sarif reportedly began his dubious activities under the name Pastor Mamman Mamman before changing to Pastor Mohammad Mohammad—a calculated move to attract Christians and present a dramatic conversion story. Through this strategy, he manipulates and extorts unsuspecting Christians under the pretext of evangelism and missionary work.

The intentional change of name from "Evang Daniel Ahmed Sarif" to "Reverend Mamman Mamman" and then to "Pastor Mohammad Mohammad" all has to do with the calculative action of a dubious man under the mask of religion.

The moves of putting on Muslim attire, hanging the turban (Kefaya) around his neck, and at times appearing in "Babban riga" the gown Hausa traditional dress while claiming to preach the gospel and expose Islamic teachings and Muslims are all tactical moves of a bright-day scammer acting under the umbrella of religion.

He and his cohort habitually misquote the glorious Qur’an, give twisted interpretations, and demonize Muslims and Islam to manipulate Christians. By presenting Islam as a false religion, they create division and hostility between religious communities.

Giving twisted interpretation of the Arabic teachings of the glorious Qur’an into Hausa, demonizing Muslims, staging fake Muslim conversions, and parading as Pastor Mohammad Mohammad has earned him thousands of Christian followers on Facebook and TikTok. They exploit Christians’ limited knowledge of the Qur’an and their trust in media propaganda to scam them under the guise of evangelism across Hausa-Fulani communities.

Today, many blindly celebrate the scammer parading as "Pastor Mohammad Mohammad", believing he has joined them to expose Islamic teachings. Unbeknown to them, they are victims of manipulation and extortion in the name of supporting what he (Mr. Daniel) and his cohort call "Bishara Dole."

While others choose the path to possession of miraculous powers, Ability to raise the death ones without visiting the nearest matouary, ability to heal the Sick ones without visiting the nearest hospitals and staging concocted testimonies as manipulative tools , Mr. Daniel the self proclaimed Pastor Mohammad Mohammad choose lies of claiming a Muslim convert to Christianity preaching the gospel what He called Bishara Dole as a Manipulative to earning cheap attention, fame, celebrations and attracting funding in the name of promoting evangelism what they called Bishara in Hausa language

Many associates of Mr. Daniel also claim to be former Muslims, seeking financial support under the guise of missionary activities, in the name of promoting what they called “Bishara Dole”. These individuals present themselves as Hausa or Fulani converts to gain credibility and donations but enrich themselves instead of funding genuine missions.

They attend Muslim gatherings, marriages, and other community events, taking photos and posting them as evidence of conversions—even when no conversions occurred. They also share doctored videos, Photoshop images, and rent false testimonies to secure more funding from Christian donors.

Christians and donor organizations are advised to remain cautious and verify conversion stories, demand transparency and accountability in fundraising, and avoid being emotionally manipulated by dramatic or unverified narratives.

Background checks and oversight are essential to ensure donations genuinely support missionary work. Communities should remain alert to individuals parading as Hausa or Fulani converts without credible evidence, prioritizing integrity, truth, and responsible stewardship in all religious and
