@Natrix_Lonewolf @Whizdom01 Yes,Zakat is an obligation for some categories of people, i mean those with significant amount of wealth. And it was the same with none Muslims too then. Those zakat paid was rightfully use used to ease the affairs of the least privileged in the society. Incase you don't know

Secondly, if jaziyya and zakat was a bad influence why are we not using it to extort each today unlike what's happening in churches?
