Good morning, @BwalaDaniel. I was cabinet minster 22 years ago, and was clear to Asiwaju that I was not interested in any position in his future government. The pathetic manner all of you latter-day converts to the Tinubu government make an issue of something that I never wanted in the first place is perhaps a reflection of the level of your moral flexibility.

If I had remained in the Tinubu government, I will say or do the same on the tragedy within a party I was a founder, and the government that emerged from it - first in private sessions with those concerned, and then go public if no remedial actions are taken. Go and check my public service record from 1998.

I am only responding to you because I still think you are a decent person who may need a job, and not in the class of Wendell Simlin and that Kaduna pretender that our voters retired in 2019 - these clowns are political mercenaries that receive humongous monthly stipends from the security vote to be the first to jump on X and other platforms to defend everything the Asiwaju government does or fails to do, no matter how indefensible it may be.

To all our brave troops that were involved in this successful operation, the nation owes you a humongous debt of gratitude. We thank all our heroic men and women in the security sector that are working tirelessly so that Nigerians live and sleep in peace, while they themselves lose sleep or even their lives as they often times pay the ultimate price in defense of our beloved nation. The families of our military and security personnel are heroes in their own right too for their resilience and patience as their loved ones serve Nigeria in the front lines. We sincerely thank you all.

Today we all recommit ourselves to the task ahead. @Speaker_Abbas @HouseNGR are at the vanguard of ensuring a safe and prosperous Nigeria working profusely on the constitution review to carefully look at issues that include but not limited to state police, the role of traditional institutions, strengthening of the local government systems, electoral reforms.

Today we wake up feeling more hopeful that tomorrow will be brighter than the day before. The greatest weapon to defeat terrorism and all forms of insecurity in Nigeria and world over is EDUCATION. And these delinquent forces of darkness are very much aware of this and hence the reason they attack soft targets such as schools to discourage parents from sending their children to school. However, we as a nation must remain undeterred and ensure that all our teachers and students in schools across Nigeria are fully secured and provided a conducive learning environment.

I look forward to working harmoniously with each of you to tackle crucial issues of security, establishing a revamped regional force to stem terrorism and banditry, climate change mitigation, provision of quality and affordable education for all, youth empowerment to stem dangerous migration keeping our future leaders productive here at home, gender inequality within communities, mechanized agriculture, power generation, harnessing our mineral resources, industrialization, boosting exports with emphasis on value addition, robust transportation network, seamless exchange of goods and services, a special focus on WASH, affordable healthcare delivery, launching a single currency and entrenching democracy and human rights.

Yes, the task ahead of us is enormous but not insurmountable. With political will, proper planning and sincere commitment, we shall chart a new course that will propel the region and in extension the entire African continent to greater heights.
