Women In Leadership Under El-Rufai'
Mal. Nasir El-Rufai's administration in Kaduna State broke gender barriers by appointing women to key leadership positions, challenging norms & setting a precedent for inclusive governance in Nigeria.A significant step towards gender equality.
Good morning, @BwalaDaniel. I was cabinet minster 22 years ago, and was clear to Asiwaju that I was not interested in any position in his future government. The pathetic manner all of you latter-day converts to the Tinubu government make an issue of something that I never wanted in the first place is perhaps a reflection of the level of your moral flexibility.
If I had remained in the Tinubu government, I will say or do the same on the tragedy within a party I was a founder, and the government that emerged from it - first in private sessions with those concerned, and then go public if no remedial actions are taken. Go and check my public service record from 1998.
I am only responding to you because I still think you are a decent person who may need a job, and not in the class of Wendell Simlin and that Kaduna pretender that our voters retired in 2019 - these clowns are political mercenaries that receive humongous monthly stipends from the security vote to be the first to jump on X and other platforms to defend everything the Asiwaju government does or fails to do, no matter how indefensible it may be.
Enjoy your special adviser position, my brother, but remember that allegiance to God and country comes first in human scale of accountability, before any person or authority. - @elrufai

They should fear me—the kind of fear that keeps them from breaking my TV during their tantrums sha. My primary duty is not to be liked by my kids but to cater to their needs and guide them through life. This may require making decisions or taking measures that might displease them in the short term but, hopefully, benefit them in the long run. :)
Grateful to former Deputy Speaker, H.E Hon. Emeka Chukwuemeka Ihedioha. He gave me a chance to serve as his Office Assistant 17 years ago. Another reminder that I am closer to 40 than I am to 30. I will be turning 37 in 7 days if God wills it. All in all, ever grateful to Allah.
World HBU Day! Knowing you and being under your tutelage has been a great honour. Happy birthday my boss lady @hadizabalausman 🎉Thank you for all you do for us and your labour of love for our dear country - which you discharge with courage, character, and unblemished integrity.
Congratulations to the @nigerianports boss on your well-deserved election as Chairman of the West African Ports Association! Wishing you a successful tenure filled with impactful leadership, innovation, and regional progress. Here's to greater strides for West Africa's maritime
Of all people that would cast aspersions on the political talents in northern Nigeria, it is not a dunce & stupid personality like you @OpeBee. The same Northern Politicians that put their political careers on the line to see the govt of today, the govt you're doing all this unsolicited PR for are the ones you call names? If this was coming from someone that has class or sense, it would be worrisome. But people like you that have no substance can only block those they don't want to engage when you speak from your smelly mouths. Show me the talents you're defending. Just a piece of it. Dullard.
@yojora Well, it is not an entirely bad thing you know. In fact, the Supreme Court route is a standard practice of altering constitutional provisions when the normal procedure seems unrealistic like Nigeria’s.
With the glory of the Almighty, it gladdens our hearts that our children are back home reunited with their parents, guardians and siblings, safely in their affectionate embrace. The ordeal is now in the past, however, the psychological trauma experienced by the community will take time to heal, but I have no doubt that both Federal and State governments shall ensure that the children of Kuriga community and all its members are properly catered for on the road to recovery,
HE @officialABAT kept his word to the families of Kuriga and to the nation. For this, Mr. President our Commander in Chief, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for serving as our Comforter in Chief.
A true character of a leader comes to light in times of adversity. And nowhere has this light shined brighter than with the leadership of HE @ubasanius during this turbulent time as he showed empathy and compassion towards the plight of Kuriga families, providing leadership and hope to the citizens of Kaduna State. The Governor of Kaduna State, may God Almighty reward you abundantly. Your Excellency, we thank you enormously.
To all our brave troops that were involved in this successful operation, the nation owes you a humongous debt of gratitude. We thank all our heroic men and women in the security sector that are working tirelessly so that Nigerians live and sleep in peace, while they themselves lose sleep or even their lives as they often times pay the ultimate price in defense of our beloved nation. The families of our military and security personnel are heroes in their own right too for their resilience and patience as their loved ones serve Nigeria in the front lines. We sincerely thank you all.
Today we all recommit ourselves to the task ahead. @Speaker_Abbas@HouseNGR are at the vanguard of ensuring a safe and prosperous Nigeria working profusely on the constitution review to carefully look at issues that include but not limited to state police, the role of traditional institutions, strengthening of the local government systems, electoral reforms.
Today we wake up feeling more hopeful that tomorrow will be brighter than the day before. The greatest weapon to defeat terrorism and all forms of insecurity in Nigeria and world over is EDUCATION. And these delinquent forces of darkness are very much aware of this and hence the reason they attack soft targets such as schools to discourage parents from sending their children to school. However, we as a nation must remain undeterred and ensure that all our teachers and students in schools across Nigeria are fully secured and provided a conducive learning environment.
God bless Kuriga Community, my Federal Constituency of Lere, Kaduna State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
It is with deep sense of humility that today, I was sworn in as Member of the 6th Legislature of the ECOWAS Parliament @ecowas_cedeao@ECOWASParliamnt .
I want to deeply appreciate HE @officialABAT for the genuine love he has for my family and also for his kind words of wisdom and encouragement granted to me today as a father to a son.
Words cannot accurately describe my gratitude HE @Speaker_Abbas, Iyan Zazzau, for his bounteous nomination and I am duty bound to deliver on the mandate he has entrusted me with.
I am thankful to HE the Senate President Godswill Akpabio, as we are from the same family tree, as my affinity to my senior brother is an inheritance that I keep in trust.
Congratulations to HE the Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin for being duly elected as the First Deputy Speaker of the parliament. There is no doubt that his acuity and vast legislative experience will be a plus for the organization. My sincere appreciation to our amiable host and landlord in Abuja, as Mr. President fondly calls HE @GovWike the FCT Minister, as well as his counterpart @YusufTuggar the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Congratulations is in order to all my newly sworn in colleagues of this prestigious parliament from all across West Africa. I look forward to working harmoniously with each of you to tackle crucial issues of security, establishing a revamped regional force to stem terrorism and banditry, climate change mitigation, provision of quality and affordable education for all, youth empowerment to stem dangerous migration keeping our future leaders productive here at home, gender inequality within communities, mechanized agriculture, power generation, harnessing our mineral resources, industrialization, boosting exports with emphasis on value addition, robust transportation network, seamless exchange of goods and services, a special focus on WASH, affordable healthcare delivery, launching a single currency and entrenching democracy and human rights.
Yes, the task ahead of us is enormous but not insurmountable. With political will, proper planning and sincere commitment, we shall chart a new course that will propel the region and in extension the entire African continent to greater heights.
Your Excellency, President @officialABAT , the Munir family immensely appreciates you and continues to pray for you for your ever memorable visit to our home topped with the honor that you bestowed on me during the inaugural session of the 6th @ecowas_cedeao@ECOWASParliamnt .
