🚨 Today, my 796 Kanal ancestral land was put to auction in Attock at 11am. The people of Attock showed immense dignity and respect by refusing to participate, not a single bid was made until the close of auction.
Yet, after the official closing, unknown men seized some people’s phones, and in the presence of NAB officials, a benami individual some Ch. Tanvir s/o Karam Din, resident of Tarnol was brought in to secretly “purchase” the land. This pre-arranged, illegal transaction failed to meet even the most basic legal requirements.
Today, 796 Kanals of mine were stolen under the guise of an auction. Tomorrow, God knows what more they will be sold, all in the name of punishing Imran Khan and those of us who refuse to betray him.
But I remain firm in faith: Allah is the best of protectors and planners. I place my trust in Him and I choose to relax and smile with my head held high.

My brothers and sisters,

As overseas Pakistanis, we have always stood up against oppression across the world. We boycott brands that support injustice, we march against atrocities, we tweet and speak up when others are suppressed. But I ask you sincerely, why are we not united against the oppression happening in our own homeland?
Why are we silent when innocents in Pakistan are killed, when citizens rot in jail unjustly, when our judiciary is paralyzed with fear, and when merit and rule of law have collapsed?
I am not asking you to vote for Imran Khan or PTI. Vote for whomever you believe in. What I am asking is that you stand up for freedom, for democracy, for the rule of law, and against the suffocation Pakistan faces today.
For the sake of our country, I urge you to show dignity and pride by boycotting tomorrow’s event at Grosvenor House. But if you must attend, do not go as slaves to power or out of fear of the stick. Go as free Pakistanis! Speak with courage, raise your voices, and demand justice for your own people, at the hands of your own people.
There is no point in standing against oppression abroad if we cannot find the spine to stand against oppression in our own land.
Overseas Pakistanis love and care for their homeland the most. In these dark times, your voice matters. Help Pakistan breathe freely again.

🚨 I am pleased to announce that two formal appeals have been submitted to the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture, @DrAliceJEdwards, on behalf of former PM @ImranKhanPTI and his wife, Bushra Bibi.
Imran Khan’s sons, Sulaiman and @Kasim_Khan_1999, have submitted the appeal for their father, while Maryam Wattoo has submitted the appeal for her sister, Bushra Bibi.
We will never stop raising our voices on every platform against their arbitrary detention and inhumane treatment. For the first time in Pakistan’s history, the wife of a political prisoner is also being incarcerated, solely to break his resolve. The nation stands firmly with Imran Khan, and we will never give up.

Happy Independence to all Pakistanis celebrating around the world. On this day we must not ever forget the Pakistan our Quaid created, “government of the people, by the people, for the people” The sacrifices of our forefathers and heroes to secure a sovereign nation did not end on 14th August 1947. The struggle to protect it must never end, even if it’s from ourselves. True love for Pakistan means putting aside personal differences for the nation’s betterment. Just as the majority of Muslims once fought for a sovereign state, today the majority’s voice must be respected, not silenced and jailed. There is no better day than today to renew our vow that every breath we take will be for Pakistan’s progress. Let’s restore democracy, uphold the rule of law, and free Imran Khan. 14th August did not happen so we could accept the Pakistan we see today.
