2025 almost over. My real recap:
Uni student grinding daily. Learned frontend + backend from zero after long bus rides.
Stack now: MERN, HLS, AWS, JWT, GitHub, Docker.
Coded mostly myself – no heavy AI shortcuts. Frontend tough but I get it deep now. Solid win 💻🔥
Had a great time at GitHub Dev Days today at DPL with my friend @_hamzaaziz_ ! 🚀
Organized by MLSA QAU & Ali Mumtaz. Shoutout to sponsor Kurneez. Learned a lot about GitHub Copilot & AI coding!

4 hours of troubleshooting later, I am officially retiring the "power button shutdown" method. Linux doesn't forgive, but it does allow for a recovery if you have a bootable USB handy. Everything is finally back to normal. 🙏 #Linux#TechTips
Want to learn golang so i can use it at its full potential but after completing a series of golang basics still wandering how to master and procrastinate for weeks.
Anybody has suggestion for me i dont want to waste time in following tutorials of hours and end up nil.
@choehau_ara @MicrosoftvApple Brother my T490 on ubuntu drains battery like hell fast with just brave browser running while on windows it drains like 75-5% in 5 hours?
Any tip?
Anyone has a solution?
My T490 with around 75% it goes with heavy load like visual studio +vscode+Microsoft sql +brave tabs and backlit on and still gives me 4-5 hours on windows but on linux ubuntu lts without any load just brave browser and it shoot the battery in 1.5 hour ?
Burnout feels like a heavy burden, but I’m turning it into fuel.
No one cares how hard you tried — you can still get mocked and crushed.
Live in the present. Grind for the future. Let the past fuel your fire.
Someday you’ll become what you’re fighting for. Luck is weird.
Job hunting in Japan? You'll need a tech portfolio
But do you need a flashy website? Is a Github enough? Do they use LinkedIn in Japan?
Japan Dev writer Garrett shares real insights: here's what hiring managers really want to see:

Ai makes a well knowledge developer to be a vibe coder which is dangerous.
But then i think " 5 days is deadline to show working mvp of an enterprise management portal which handle stuff i never used, pdfs , calculations of 100s of hotels tracking employee"
what do you think?
React app for generating invoices — 30 hotels, each with different layout, phrasing, calcs & PDF download.
Avoiding 30x duplicated forms/hooks/views. What's the cleanest scalable approach? Config objects? Dynamic rendering? Component composition?
Tips appreciated!
@dopabees Rebuilding Figma from scratch in 24 hours is wild — massive respect!
If you're moving that fast solo, why hunt for interns? You could just build your own agentic systems end-to-end and ship whatever you want, without the overhead of training or managing them 😏

The rough parts:
Books – started many, finished zero.
Japanese – learned some, then stopped.
Volleyball/sports – lazy, did nothing.
Old blogs/sites – dropped completely.
Motivation up & down all year.
2026 me – read this daily:
Deploy Streamsy
Land job → earn → help dad big time
Masters in Japan someday
Volleyball + gym → get strong
Finish everything I start
Devs & students in the grind – what's your top 2026 goal? We got this 🫂🚀
#2025Recap#NewYear2026
Building my first big project: Streamsy (streaming app).
Adding Next.js, OAuth, subscriptions, Polar payments.
Goal: Finish + deploy soon. Takes time but pushing hard.
