Yesterday, I visited @OCP_Africa, Based in Casablanca, the company operates mining sites, manufacturing plants, and a major fertilizer export hub in Jorf Lasfar.
This is the biggest phosphates company in Morocco, and the world's largest producer of phosphate rock and fertilizer. OCP controls roughly 70% of the world's phosphate reserves, with key operations in mining, phosphoric acid production, and fertilizer manufacturing.
In our quest to boost fertilizer use in Uganda, this visit was timely and crucial as i convinced them to expand their footprints to Uganda.
As the @FAO–🇨🇳–🇺🇬 #SouthSouthCooperation project concludes, we honor the 9⃣ Chinese experts who, for 4⃣ years, worked side by side with Ugandan farmers.
