Io non mi metto sul piano di Giorgia Meloni e Matteo Salvini.
Non dirò che è loro responsabilità se gli sbarchi di migranti sono aumentati significativamente. Non lo dirò perché non è vero.

Ciò che imputo a loro e ai loro partiti, invece, è di aver alimentato per anni una propaganda falsificatoria della realtà che ha avvelenato e imbarbarito il dibattito pubblico italiano.

È di aver impedito, proprio con quella propaganda, di aprire qualsiasi confronto serio sulla gestione delle politiche migratorie nel breve, ma soprattutto nel lungo periodo, superando una legge assurda e dannosa come la Bossi-Fini.

È di essere alleati in Europa proprio con i governi che impediscono qualsiasi iniziativa condivisa tra gli Stati Membri rispetto a una questione di una complessità enorme e che nessun paese può affrontare da solo.

È di aver fatto di tutto per smantellare ogni forma di accoglienza diffusa sul territorio, salvo poi abbandonare i sindaci, anche appartenenti ai loro partiti, ad affrontare senza risorse aggiuntive l’arrivo continuo di profughi.

E li accuso di proseguire imperterriti sulla stessa strada, dicendo sciocchezze da bar tipo che l’arrivo dei migranti è “un atto di guerra“, oppure che bisogna fermarli alla partenza.

Parole vuote e dannose, prive di qualsiasi fondamento e significato, che dimostrano la loro totale incapacità di capire che su una questione epocale come questa non sono ammessi slogan. Sono al governo, comincino a governare e ad assumere non dico comportamenti patriottici, ma almeno minimamente dignitosi e rispettosi delle cariche istituzionali che ricoprono e soprattutto degli italiani.
