We defeated the attempt to single out & isolate 🇿🇦. The AU has agreed with us. The AU will discuss the migration issue broadly & look at the "Pull & Push" factors. Countries will have to introspect & look at what drives people away. Sending, Transit & Receiving countries must collaborate to find solutions. https://t.co/QlrrN9Gwb4

The ONLY reason why the Trump administration is not coming to South Africa G20 session is because they do not want to be physically exposed to the lie that they have been peddling. Why not come and show us where this discrimination and genocide is happening? You visit Israel all the time, and have no problem to return again and again despite its blatant violation of international law prohibiting human rights violations, apartheid and genocide.
I challenge @SecRubio to send a USA delegation of independent civil society inclusive of senior religious, labour, academic, student, community and media organisations, to come for a mission in South Africa to determine the veracity of Trump’s claims about there being racial discrimination of Afrikaners, inclusive of genocide.
Alternatively, Senate and Congress can send a multi party (or by-partisan) delegation to do the same.
In their mission: they must meet Afrikaner organisations, there are many. Afrikaner scholars, community leaders and businesses. They must visit farm communities and grave sites. They must meet SAPS, STATS SA, NPA, Media and the Judiciary.
They must file a public report thereafter.
This might be hard to do because in essence, for such an effort to occur, there should be prima facie evidence, in which case there is none. Because to this day, the US Trump administration has not produced a single shred of evidence to support any of their genocide claims.
I don't think I understand the link with South America, is he saying South Africa is a region and not a country? What communism when the USA is SA's 2nd largest economic partner?
President Trump, speaking at the America Business Forum in Miami, appears to make a mistaken reference to South Africa in relation to people fleeing communism (to Miami, Florida?). And then double's down by attacking South Africa, including its hosting of the G20, reasserts that he's not going to the G20 and that SA should not be in the G's. Watch the clip below.
