How can we trust AI to be moral when we can’t agree on what morality is? Brilliant piece by @paulbloomatyale on the challenges and dangers of AI alignment. Wonder if AI could teach us new values, instead of copying our flawed ones?

Pretty angry to see the Government debate dropping mental health law reforms because it's not a 'vote-winner'.

@DocTheHoff Good point. I was also wondering what the cultural differences, for instance in South Asian cultures, would look like here. Could be interesting!
Also, I look forward to it 😄
Interesting findings by @DocTheHoff & D Fairburn on effects of unemployment on locus of control. With the huge number of #techlayoffs I've got an increase in the number of clients in therapy dealing with unemployment. (1/3)

Findings show change in locus of control towards externality. But something I found even more interesting about this is that students entering unemployment seem to be more affected than those who've held a job. (2/3)
I've been invited to give a presentation related to my PhD research (on accessible parking), but it's in-person only and the organisers have emailed me that the venue is "accessible but has no accessible parking".
Not sure I can handle so much irony.
