Due to the impressive leadership and organization of our outpatient dialysis unit over 100 Jackson Medical Mall received dialysis yesterday in a single day despite issues with water access #ummcstrong#HealthcareHeroes@UMMCMedicine
I want to thank our dialysis operation staff, who today, during this weather and with a water outage, worked extremely hard to ensure water supply and provide dialysis to every patient that could make it to JMM. Even if that meant sleeping over at the Unit. @UMMCneph@UMMCnews
We are so proud of these residents and medical students! They have been teaching/ learning about hyponatremia, chloride, and everything in between! All of the things that we Nephrologists love and adore! 🤓❤️ Keep up the strong work 💪🏼 #excitedaboutelectrolytes@UMMCMedRes
