Poor folks don't get how marriage works among rich folks.
A friend of mine is happily married with two children.
His wife is into pastries; she has her own bakery and also tends to the home
Her husband is an engineer
One day, after executing a big project and making some huge money, the husband decided to ease his wife of some of her household duties.
He employed a chef to make the meals, a driver to take the children to school daily, two cleaners to help with cleaning the house, compound, cars, and clothes
He bought his wife a car and got her a driver
The wife said he was trying to render her irrelevant in his life so that he could divorce her and marry another wife.
"You won't be eating my food, I won't be washing your clothes or cleaning your room, I won't be doing anything for you as my husband, I won't also be taking the children to school and picking them up from school. So, what relevance am I to you and this marriage?
You are replacing me in your life so that I become an outsider?
The husband tried to explain, but she wouldn't have any of it.
He had to sack all his staff and return the house to how things were running before in order to restore order to the home.
In any marriage, once one partner successfully renders the role, the other partner is playing in his or her life redundant, separation and divorce will soon follow"
