Umojaverse

Bringing Africa’s builders together to turn bold ideas into real-world solutions and shape the continent’s future.

Revenue is only the first line. Count delivery, support, sales effort, and founder work that repeats for every customer. Then ask which costs would actually fall as you grow.

NexusPay × BOTChain

Global payments start with everyday use.

NexusPay is officially live on @BOTChain_ai mainnet bringing $USDT payments to a global wallet, with $BOT powering network fees.

Move value across borders. Make it part of your everyday.

If users return but few new people arrive, test how you reach them before rebuilding. If they try once and leave, ask what result they expected. Reach and product value are different problems.

A compliment costs nothing. Return visits, real work moved into your product, and payment are stronger signals. For team products, learn from both the user and the person who can buy.

Not quantum-safe, Not your coin!

[Arslan @0xarslan]

Starkware CEO Eli Ben-Sasson says Ethereum is just following StarkNet's footsteps

"Where Ethereum is heading is where StarkNet is now."

"All of that is following the footsteps of StarkNet. It exists today."

"If Ethereum does not move fast enough, and I'm not sure it will, like that's the basic question."

@tsubasaP2E @EliBenSasson Not quantum-safe, Not your coins.

[Eli Ben-Sasson | Starknet.io @EliBenSasson]

Key features that will become non-negotiable for crypto projects:

1. Crypto agility:
We'll see many mathematical breakthroughs in the near future, and AI will surprise us time and again. The timeline for quantum computers is getting shorter.
All of the above lead to this: crypto agility will play a crucial role in adapting and adjusting security.

2. Post-quantum and post-AI security:
(Explained above.)

3. Privacy:
For crypto to expand, it must offer privacy.

4. UX:
Many crypto apps already have excellent UX. But it needs to be the standard, not the exception.

What else?

[Umojaverse @Umojaverse]

Couldn't have said it better, this cannot be emphasized enough. Security should be a top priority for both existing products and those still being built. Critically we need to embed security by design, especially as we enter an era increasingly shaped by AI and quantum computing.

Low growth tells you something is wrong, not what. Check where people stop: finding you, trying the product, getting a useful result, or returning. Test the weak step before changing direction.

An upgrade is a very reasonable ask. Thanks to CKB's innovation, no need to mass upgrade.

[Common Knowledge Base Association (CKBA) @ckba_build]

In June 2010, with Bitcoin trading for less than a cent, someone on @bitcointalk asked what would happen if SHA-256 were cracked tomorrow. A mathematician friend had warned that hardly any hash functions survive 10 years.

Satoshi's answer: SHA-256 should "last several decades unless there's some massive breakthrough attack."

If it broke suddenly, the community would agree on the honest chain from before the trouble and "continue from there with a new hash function." If it weakened slowly, the software would switch to a new hash at a set block. "Everyone would have to upgrade by that time."

He was right about the cryptography. SHA-256 was first published in 2001 and is still standing 25 years later.

The plan for replacing it is what aged. Getting everyone to upgrade was a reasonable ask when Bitcoin's whole community could fit inside one forum thread.

Today it means miners, exchanges, custodians, ETF issuers and millions of holders agreeing on a change and upgrading in lockstep, with well over a trillion dollars at stake.

That's the real shape of the quantum debate. The threat today is mainly to signatures rather than the hash, but the hard question is the one Satoshi answered: when cryptography needs replacing, who has to agree first?

CKB was designed so that adding a new signature scheme needs no network-wide agreement. It's a lock script, and each holder moves to it when they choose. No fork, no flag day.
