Last night, I was able to perform extra tawaf (walking anti clockwise around the Ka’ba seven times). Walking around the Ka’ba on the first floor is a lot longer than walking around on the Ka’ba on the ground floor (mataf area), why is that?
I am in the best place (Haram in Makkah) on the best day of the week (Jumu’ah), in the best month (Ramadan). The reward for praying in the Haram in Makkah is 100,000 times more than any other place. Insha’Allah it is multiplied many more times in Ramadan. Ameen. Jumuah Mubarak!
Just to point out that this video is flipped (mirror camera image) which is why it shows people going around the Kaba clockwise. There must be a setting on my phone to correct it but not sure how. Just so you know.
I completed the last part of Umrah which is to cut my hair. Allahu Akbar! My Umrah is now complete. I pray that my wife and I are granted an accepted Umrah during this blessed month of Ramadan, that is equivalent to performing Hajj with the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Ameen.🤲
The model in the middle shows us how much the Prophet Muhammad (SAW)’s masjid has expanded over the past 50 years. Question: When did the green dome become green?
The very long queues meant that I was unable to pray two rakah in the Rawdah on this occasion. Maybe next time, insha’Allah. The Rawdah, is an area between the minbar (pulpit) and house of the Prophet (SAW). It is one of the Riyāḍ Al-Jannah – meaning “Gardens of Paradise”.
