Interesting how a private act of charity suddenly became Nigeria’s responsibility in your head. The money wasn’t public funds, wasn’t Nigerian funds, and wasn’t for a government project. It was friends honoring their dead, on their terms.

A mosque isn’t just a place of prayer. It feeds people, shelters the needy, funds charity, educates children, and serves communities daily. Emergency response centers are important, but so is allowing people to mourn and give in ways aligned with their faith.

But then again, outrage is cheaper than understanding, and provocation often exposes shallowness faster than silence ever could.

@HighwaysEAST Yeah, after 7 hours wait without any food and water. I drove past the other side, I saw the cars coming from Sandy and great barford making the traffic worse and not allowing the cars in the black cat to move. They’ve been stuck whilst the other cars made the traffic worse.
