Then why are the Oaths of Citizenship specific in swearing allegiance to (and I quote) "His Majesty King Charles the Third, His Heirs and Successors?

This is the actual law, according 24(1)(e), Schedule 1 of the Citizenship Act.

The oath explicitly requires allegiance to the Crown, as well as adherence to Canadian law.
