🚨 Epic Games, make up your mind.

I was falsely banned for cheating, and I wasn’t even given a proper chance to explain my situation or provide my evidence.

I submitted an appeal, yet I received a response saying the ban was “accurately applied” and that I’m not eligible for an unban. But when I check Epic’s own Sanctions & Appeals page, it still says “Appeal in review.”

So which one is it? Is my appeal still under review, or has it already been finalized?

I have proof of my account being hacked just 2 days before the ban, my support tickets, and everything that happened leading up to the ban. I want my evidence to actually be considered.

I just got a 1 day ban, but the next day it was changed to 365 days for exploiting a game bug even though I didn't do anything. Can anyone help me?

@HYPEX could you address the recent wave of false Fortnite bans? A lot of legitimate players, including myself, are being falsely banned for exploiting/cheating while actual hackers seem to remain unbanned.

@laddtvv The funny thing is that it isn’t even a normal ban, its a hwid ban which restricts any other account from matchmaking on your device

The anti-cheat system seriously needs improvement. It’s frustrating seeing legitimate players get false banned while actual hackers can continue playing unbanned.

I’m not the only one facing this either. Multiple players have reported similar false bans. Anti-cheat should protect Fortnite, not punish innocent players.

🚨 FALSE FORTNITE BAN

I was falsely banned from Fortnite while playing a Battle Royale game. I had never cheated, exploited, or used hacks in my 8–9 years of playing Fortnite.

What makes this even more concerning is that just 2 days before the ban, my Epic Games account was hacked. The hacker gained access to my account and changed my email. I contacted Epic Support, submitted tickets, and eventually recovered my account. I’ve attached proof of all of this below.

Then, only two days later, while playing normally with my cousin, I was kicked from the match due to internet lag so I restarted my router and joined another game, only to be kicked again and hit with a 24-hour ban for “exploiting.” Which turned into a year long ban after a day.

I have never hacked or cheated on Fortnite, yet I was still falsely banned. I’ve also seen other players reporting similar false bans, which makes this extremely concerning.

I’m asking @FortniteGame @EpicGames to please take this issue seriously and investigate these false bans. If legitimate players are being incorrectly banned by the anti-cheat system, it could seriously damage players’ trust in Fortnite and ultimately harm Epic’s reputation.

I’ve attached proof of my account being hacked, my support tickets, and the ban below.
