so the end has come for the dsmp, and as such for this account. as simply put, “this is the way the world ends. not with a bang but a whimper.” we’ve served our purpose, we go peacefully, thank you all for everything 🖤
where are you people coming from huh
anyway bit aside, admin is fleeing fires right now and this made my day better. hope you all are doing well (and socal people stay safe) 💜
on a serious note not sure why we’re talking dsmp again but y’all can find stream recaps here + video summaries on blueberry tv’s youtube <3
that’s all bye again!
- sam always method acted during lore streams, he doesn’t know how to act without getting into the character’s emotions
- sam had a few songs he listened to before doing lore that helped him get in the mindset (not the scientist 💔)
- c!sam acted very human, like how he didn’t want to put c!ranboo in prison but ended up doing so anyway out of paranoia
- sam wishes the c!sam and c!ponk could’ve been fleshed out more
- some of his favourite times online were hanging out with ponk before class
- moving the story along required planning things out but it was a double edged sword in losing the value of improv/unscripted moments
- quackity was really good at creating his lore + cinematics and sam enjoyed seeing both the stream events and behind the scenes
- sam planned a redemption arc for c!sam that was never carried out, he doesn’t want to share cos he’d rather keep the ending he has
- sam’s intention with c!sam is imagining how he as a person would act in situations
- there were too many good guys, it takes away the appeal of being good when there’s so many
- so much of the lore wasn’t scripted and was interactions between ccs that turned into lore
- the scripted parts allowed for big productions but it took away from the magic
- during the smp sam got a lot of hate even for his cc self, but he didn’t care cos he still wanted to be a morally grey character
- when he realised people hated him as a person, he knew he could write c!sam even crazier and build a dichotomy of people who loved or hated him
- c!sam did morally grey things like killing c!ranboo
- warden sam was torn between being a good guy and doing what he thought was right
- c!sam being morally grey was intentional + also gave flexibility for writing
- c!sam’s actions were justifiable to some but not to others
sam’s headcanon:
• c!sam found michael trapped in the wall and sympathised
• c!sam had no intention of hurting michael, the peaceful music on stream showed that
• c!sam had been trapped in the prison with dream, so he didn’t want michael to be trapped in the wall forever too
