This resonated more than I expected.
I’ve noticed I tend to gravitate toward things like philosophy, self-improvement, building, and trying to understand how things work - internally and externally.
Sometimes that makes everyday conversations feel a bit surface-level, and it can feel isolating.
While others chases validation and ego, I chase authenticity.
While others try to outcompete each other and prove that they're "better", I reflect on where I stand, what I am and believe in being kind to others, as I believe everyone has something unique to offer this world. No one is less, no one is more
I realize that I am not perfect and reflect on how I can be better, every day.
I’m starting to realize there are more people like this than it seems, they’re just a bit quieter.
Feels like it’s less about finding everyone, and more about finding a few people where you can actually go deep.
That’s probably enough.

Some lines didn’t just entertain me,
they rewired how I see the world.

Some Rob Reiner trivia, when Damon/Affleck wrote “Good Will Hunting” nearly the entire movie was about South Boston miscreants tricking & evading the NSA (whence that famous speech)
Reiner told them to focus on the therapy angle instead, and later a blockbuster was born. RIP
I watched Good Will Hunting again for the first time in years yesterday.
The film (and this scene in particular) always jolts me into thinking differently about the world. Robin Williams was a genius.
@ATRightMovies Robin Williams as Sean Maguire in "Good Will Hunting" (1997)
As a therapist, he guides and mentors Will Hunting, helping him confront his past traumas and embrace his potential.
His ability to connect with Will on a profound level makes him a role model for men of all ages.
Good Will Hunting (1997)
Robin Williams wasn’t the original choice for Sean.
But his performance became so iconic that it earned him his only Oscar.
