Police in Lviv, Ukraine responded to a false report of a break-in at a store on Danylyshyna Street, according to the Prosecutor’s Office.

Officers entered the building where an explosive device had been planted. The first blast occurred inside. A second explosion followed when another patrol unit arrived.

A 23-year-old female police officer was killed. Several others were injured, and a patrol vehicle was damaged.
