One of the interesting things about the tourist takes on P4 is that they all have this very progressive “I must rebel and resist everything in the world that I do not like!!!!” mentality, whereas P4 is very much more in line with a more normal Japanese mindset.

To the Japanese, there’s just some shit in life you accept, because it’s not gonna be changed by you freaking out about it. Junes is a big corporation entering a small town, messing with its local economy and changing the way of life for a lot of people, and thats treated by the narrative not as some evil that must be changed, but as a reality of life that must be accepted and adapted to.
